  Awful experience. Did not worth the money we paid at all. Very bad behavior, very unprofessional. They seam to have no organized procedures, they can ruin your trip. Very very fake smiles. Very poor rooms. We were lucky to take a video of the room before unpacking because they accused us of stealing a water boiler! The day we left we had to call the police and press legal charges to them. We unpacked everything, they did not find anything apparently and still they did not say a sorry! Egoist and evil people. And still accused us that we stole they boiler the days before and purhaps buried it somewhere outside the hotel in order to pick it up later. Aufull, aufull experience never met so evil people before .

  Having read some of the negative reviews I was dubious about summerland.. However, despite the fact that it is dated, and you do have to pay extra for air con (which is a little unusual - but we knew before hand so had budgeted for), we all found the place to be a lovely quiet place to stay. The pool was lovely, there were always sunbeds available, the rooms were clean and a good size, the fridge was a godsend! The breakfast buffet is a continental style and we always filled up there is a decent choice, the lady is constantly making sure nothing runs out. What stood out the most for us, were the staff, they were absolutely lovely, went out of their way to help you if needed and always polite and had time for you. Couldn't fault them at all. Made our stay very enjoyable.. huge thanks to them.Would recommend, and would definitely go back :)

  Not a 3 star more like a 2star clean and tidy but dated and had maintenance issues threadbare sheet had to pay for aircon no kettle in room had to pay for one. definitely not a place for solo travel long walk along a dark side street. Great for a base if you rent a car. Staff lovely and any issues raised were dealt with immediately. Nothing to do in hotel in evening. Buffet breakfast was the same every morning no fresh fruit just tinned fruit biscuits and cake for breakfast a few fresh pastries from the bakery down the road would have been welcomed. Sliced “ham” cheese (like easi singles) cold boiled egg still in the shell sliced tomatoes and cucumber.

  Terrible experience – avoid this hotel at all costs!I stayed at Rhodos Summerland Hotel and Bungalows from 8-16. August, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had.The rooms were dirty, worn out, and falling apart. There were insects all over the room, and the bathroom was in a shocking condition – the shower was broken, the glass shelf was barely hanging on the wall, and everything felt unsafe and unhygienic.The food was extremely poor, with very limited options. They didn’t even have something as simple as French fries available for purchase.The staff were unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Many guests, including myself, were extremely dissatisfied with the service. The staff spoke in a disrespectful manner and enforced ridiculous rules that made no sense. For example, I was allowed to use my swimming goggles and a nose clip, but my travel partner was not allowed to use a diving mask that also covered the nose. On another occasion, my travel partner I was shouted because my travel partner was rinsing off with shampoo in an outdoor shower after checkout – even though this shower was far away from the pool area and no other facilities were available to us.On my last day, things escalated to a shocking level. When I confronted the manager and explained that the treatment we had received was completely unacceptable, she screamed at me and called me a liar. Suddenly, one of her cleaning staff tried to physically attack me. She attempted to rip my suitcase from my hands, threatened to punch me, and actually hit me in the stomach. I had to push her away in self-defense while the manager repeatedly tried to hold her back. At one point, she even attempted to spit at me and later tried to grab a metal trash can to use as a weapon against me.This was witnessed by several other guests, and I even have video evidence of the incident. Despite this, the hotel is trying to deny that it ever happened.I have never in my life experienced anything so shocking and unprofessional at a hotel. Not only is the place run-down and dirty, but the staff are aggressive, abusive, and unsafe to be around.⚠️ For your own safety and peace of mind, do not book this hotel.

  First of all, I would advise you to read the facilities provided before purchasing this hotel, I’d say it is more of a hostel or a motel and it is not a typical hotel so be wise especially if you’re coming with young children. Air conditioning is extra pay which is disappointing since it’s boiling also no travel buses stop directly in front of the hotel and the walk up to the hotel is especially scary at late nights. So If you are a night life person this may not be the hotel for you. The shower is very small so if you are a larger or taller person it is a bit more difficult to move and there is no bath so bathroom gets wet. The customer service is amazing though, they are very sweet people.
