Location

This hotel is situated directly beside the long sandy beach. Around 1 km away is the picturesque small town of Pythagorio, the birthplace of the famous mathematician Pythagoras, which offers the most varied and colourful nightlife on the island of Samos. There, in a setting of charming narrow streets and ancient ruins, guests will find numerous shopping and entertainment options.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 179 rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a TV room. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (for a fee). Other services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most units include a balcony with sea views, where guests can relax and linger a while. All rooms are carpeted and have a queen-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator and a mini fridge. A TV, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The resort has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A wide range of sports and activities are offered at the resort, such as beach volleyball. For a fee, guests can also enjoy tennis, volleyball and crazy golf. Water sports available at the resort include water skiing, jet skiing, paddle boating and banana boat rides. For an additional fee, guests can also choose from a gym, table tennis and billiards. There is a wellness area with a range of facilities, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Half board can be booked. Breakfast, lunch and a comprehensive dinner buffet offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options.

    Lovely resort offering everything a visitor might wish. Staff flexible in working with us to address problematic dates of stay. Helpful for medical issue that arose.     I've traveled to Greece many times but this is my first visit to beautiful Samos. Staying at the Doryssa Seaside Resort with 5 friends. We love it! My room (in the Village area of the resort) is cute, spacious, quiet and clean. Food at breakfast terrific and plentiful. Hotel beach (European Blue Flag designation) is very nice and the clearest sea that I've seen anywhere in Europe. Hotel staff is very friendly and quick to help with requests. I have high standards, and I highly recommend this hotel - book a room in the Village section (prettier than Main building but one friend staying there and likes it too).     It’s been a while since I stayed in a resort hotel. Firstly, it was nice to be welcomed by the staff. We had the chance to check in early, and they were helpful about this. Then we put our things in the sea-view room and went down to the seaside to get our towels. There we learned that we could only change our towels once every two days. We didn’t understand why.We couldn’t find a space in the shade, so we decided to go to the beach near the hotel. They charged us 20 euros for the beds, but it was okay.There are many children in the hotel, but they are cute.In the morning, we had to be at breakfast before 10:00. The staff started clearing everything right at 10:00 😂 so we had to be very quick. That made me a little nervous.About the location, I think it is awesome—next to the town and with direct access to the beach.For the check-out time, they were flexible, which we really appreciated.
