    Tabaiba

    rating17 Apr 2026

Arrived and was immediately shown to our apartment. As we requested an adapted room, the premise was huge. It has two bedrooms, a walkin shower and a terrace that led straight out to the pool area. Our apartment was 204. We had our own mobility scooters and they were easily accommodated with the apartment. Shower good. Cooking facilities are adequate. Too be honest we know Costa Teguise well and knew that it was well out of the usual thoroughfare. There is a bus that takes you to the centre at 11 and 1600. I found the beds hard after the first few hours. Hubby struggled with the bed space as you need to shuffle around the beds to get to the other side. The cafe does food on site but after the first night we didn't go there anymore. Lidl and Spar are down the road. Prices for food have shot up here in Lanzarote. It is easier and cheaper to eat out but unless you wish to spend money on a taxi or walk then you are cooking at home. Love Costa Teguise and coming back in November but this time staying at the Celeste. Won't be going back to the Tabaiba unless it gets so expensive we are forced to.

This hotel is really good considering the reviews I read before my stay, very spacious rooms we had a one bed apartment very large terraces, our room got cleaned twice in 9 days but to be fair we just bought cleaning stuff and that done us, asked the cleaner for bin bags and she gave us a few so no issues there I’m sure it would have been cleaned in between if we needed it and asked.Staff were very nice, didn’t eat here as took a taxi to the centre which took minutes and about €4 which is very cheap walking there would take a good while, nearest supermarket about 15 mins walk but again just take a taxi for the big shop. We had buggies from trotters independent tours and scooters, took us 15 mins to get to the centre on this it was brilliant.Laundry facilities €6 for a load also a tumble dryer same price.Plenty sun beds good sun trap at both pools, nice wee bar area and two pool tables.

    quiet stay

good large and fresh apartment, good friendly helpful staff. these apartments are little way out from main centre in a quieter residential area, which personally I like and enjoy the walk down and into town. small area of shops and bars about 10 minute walk away playa bastion 15 mins and from there can have a pleasant walk on the flat to central area. the only frustration I had here was the poor wi-fi which the staff were good enough to mention there frustration with it as I checked in, otherwise good value quiet spot would stay again.

A place for peace and quiet, but not luxury.

I have just come back from a week at these lovely apartments, which are a 20-25 minute walk from the centre of Costa Teguise, although there are a few decent restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. They are divided into two sections, and I was in a studio in the top section, which was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed, including a friendly black cat who would meow at the door every morning. The only downside was that I had a rather noisy family in the room next to me, but apart from that it was peaceful, and there are two, albeit rather small, swimming pools. Also, my room was only serviced once during my stay, and they provide equipment for you to clean your rooms, so if you're looking for somewhere with creature comforts, this may not be for you.In addition, car hire is recommended in order that you can get around the island more easily, and even into Costa Teguise itself, where you can park anywhere near the seafront. That said, it is also easy to get around by taxi if you don't fancy the walk, and the staff are happy to book these for you, and also to arrange car hire, excursions etc. If you want to get around by bus, there are bus stops about 5-10 mins walk away in various directions, and there is a free shuttle bus from the hotel into town, and they organise a trip to the Sunday market in Teguise, which is a 20 minute journey inland. Basically, if you're looking for somewhere quiet, and not expecting maid service every day, I would recommend this place. I will probably return, especially to see my little friend.
