  DO NOT STAY HERE!! I’d give 0 stars if I could… We traveled from the states, booked 2 rooms, and when we arrived the owner said he didn’t have our reservation, and told us there was nothing he could do. They took our money and left us stranded, wouldn’t call us a taxi, refund our money, and threatened us. This place is a SCAM! Save your money and book elsewhere!! He also was petty enough to send me a message saying I’m ugly!? Like what? AVOID!!!!

  Nice hotel, nice breakfast, questionable management

  This hotel would have gotten a better rating from me if a few things went differently. First of all, we didn't know we should have planned ahead to arrange for reception to be there so we ended up waiting a bit before the manager came to check us in. We had arranged ahead of time with hotels.com to change our reservation, and wanted to be sure that it was acknowledged by the hotel, but the manager refused to work with us and demanded that we pay for the entire stay. During this time he was confrontational and rude and made it clear that we would not be able to change our reservation with him. He insisted we contact hotels.com to change the reservation and they should give him an updated confirmation, but when hotels.com contacted him, he refused to work with them on the subject either. Long story short, we got our money back from hotels.com many months later. However, we were uncomfortable the entire visit because of this and it is the definite dark part of our vacation to Santorini.The next point was there was a TV antenna amplifier in the room that made a very irritating high pitched noise. When we unplugged it, apparently the TV stopped working in all the other rooms. A lady came in almost immediately and insisted that we turn it back on. So, since we didn't want to deal with the manager again, we just decided to live with the irritating noise and look forward to staying another place.All the negativity aside, the girl who worked there was pleasant and the breakfast was really nice. It was a bit hot sitting in the sun to eat breakfast, but at least the air conditioning worked well inside the room. We did manage to get an underpowered ATV booked that could ferry us to and from Oia (It is a fairly long way to the city). I think I would have given this place 4 stars had it not been for the surly manager.Also we didn't try the pool, but when you see it, you'll understand why.

  Too much for what?

  We stayed only for two days! I understand that it was high season but 150 euros for 3 person room in this place is far too expensive! Maybe this is why it was almost empty. The place is clean but the facilities are very basic and the shower is really small! Breakfast is not included in this price also!!!!!The location is good since it is really close to Oia. In other words if the price was something like 100 I would recommend it!

  Our room (1couple) was very simple, but daily cleaning was never missing! This is the right place if you are looking for a quiet place where to spend your relaxing holiday without any particular requests.

  Our stay at Abyssanto Villas was enjoyable.What you see in the pics on the website is what you get.Our host Georgia was very helpful and accommodating. She made a great breakfast and our room was always kept clean.The villa is a bit out of the hustle and bustle of the main towns, so it is worth getting a car. Great location if you enjoy peace and quiet!
