  Perfect place to relax and enjoy a great holiday in Santorini

  Beautiful complex with perfectly equipped maisonette apartment. The hosts Lia & Chris are extremely warm and helpful with tips and advice. Very fine fresh daily breakfast which we were able to enjoy in front of our apartment. The size of the pool and the water temperature as well as the cleanliness left nothing to be desired.

  I must tell you this has been one of the best experiences we had while staying in santorini. Chris and Lia have been absolutely wonderful from helping us on the best places to go eat, things to do, and guiding us on everything to do while we were here. this place is so cute, quiet, and just magical. The breakfast is sooooo good. Chris thank you again for everything you have such a beautiful gem in the heart of santorini and I hope to come back soon and stay again here. the location is just perfect

  Best family own hotel!

  My wife and I rent an apartment at this location and spent 4 nights.I am a frequent business traveler person and stay at franchise hotels. This was one of the rare cases that I ended up in a family business place.When we got to the apartment, Chris the owner, welcome us. He did not only did the regular check in, but he went beyond that and gave us advise about what to visit or where to go in Santorini. He made some tour recommendations and provided his personal opinions about some of them.We decided to follow his advise and we don’t regret it. We did not spent much money and have a great time in Santorini.Besides this, every day Chris gave us a great breakfast. We felt like staying at a relative house and not at a hotel. It was so delicious and special.The pool, place and apartment was excellent. To be honest, I felt better than staying at 4 stars hotel in Athens that costed us 3 times more per night. I would rather spent more time at Chris’s apartment.On the last day, Chris asked us about breakfast. We did not want to bother him with it because we planned to leave the apartment around 4:00 a.m. Chris went beyond and prepared breakfast for us to take to the airport. He prepared some sandwiches that were perfectly fine next day of our departure. I wish that that the expensive hotels give you such great service.My experience at Chris apartment is changing my view of small hotels vs. franchise hotels.If you want to have a great experience while you are in Santorini, I strongly recommend staying at Chris, apartments.The location is not walking distance to Fira, but renting a car was the best way for us to move around Santorini anyway. This made easy for us to get in and out to and from the apartment.Also, the pace is quiet and it has a beautiful sunrise view, which you can watch it from the apartments windows. I saw some places close to Fira and Oia, but they were noise and crowded because they were in the heart of the tourist area. Chris’ apartments did not have these issues.Overall, price, location and service

  A little gem off the main tourist track.

  This is a little gem of a place! Everything was clean, tidy, well appointed, safe and well maintained with daily 'maid service'. The pool has sufficient loungers and shades for everyone staying; no need to 'save' your lounger! The breakfasts were huge portions, freshly made and different every day. Chris and Lia (owners) couldn't do enough to help, including the taxis to and from airport, recommending restaurants etc. The main Fira-Oia caldera walk is very close (down the hill, and turn left). There is a taverna a short walk down the hill, open evenings and serving simple food. There is a Carrefour supermarket up the hill, selling everything you could want if you want to self-cater in the accommodation kitchenette.The only 'down side' that the accommodation cannot change, is you may need to bear in mind if you don't rent a car or use taxi, there is NO pavement to walk on, and the road the property is on is busy (it is only about 100m walk on the edge of the road to reach the caldera path, but for this reason, if you have young children/pram/wheelchair/infirm walkers, for safety you should consider either leaving the property by taxi, or hire a car.)We had a great stay at Anthonas Apartments and would definitely come again.

  Great location, fabulos breakfast served on your own terrace overlooking the swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. In between Oia and Fira, quick access to hiking route. Swimming pool large size, clean apartments, happy to return sometime in the future.
