This hotel lies just 400 m from the centre of Fira, around 8 km from the airport and Athinios harbour. Pebble Kamari Beach is 9 km away.

    Quiet, small, relaxing hotel local to Fira.

    Really comfortable budget style hotel. A ten minute walk from the town of Fira and set along the cliff face for nice pictures of sunsets once you leave the hotel. Attentive and informative staff. Pool area was nice, specially the leather sun loungers. It was never too busy which was nice (in September anyway). Also local to the bus station which means you can get a €2 bus to the town of Oia (25 minute drive or so). Slight negative is breakfast was a bit limited but was still satisfactory and wouldn’t put me off from booking again.

    Such wonderful, friendly, attentive, and accommodating staff at Astir Thira. They made our whole stay relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel is very conveniently located a short walking distance from the bustle of the center of Fira -- so you can return to a quiet and restful sleep. The pool is relaxing and well situated to get sun morning through late-afternoon. The front of the hotel faces the caldera directly! Breakfast was delicious, with lots of different options to fit any taste. I loved having feta and olives with breakfast! The front desk was able to arrange for my whole family space on a semi-private sunset dinner cruise. Esmeralda and Anna are true gems and kept the rooms clean and stocked daily. The price was an incredible value considering how close the hotel is to the heart of Fira.

    Modern, spotless and nice place, located at the very edge of the city centre (10 minutes walk), with a nice swimming pool where to rest when not out.The most impressive thing is the treat of the staff, starting from the room keepers, and especially Anna form the front desk, who was always extremely efficient and helpful since the minute 1.We had a lovely holiday, we would repeat and suggest this place to everybody!

    Amazing staff ,very clean, exceptional service awesome location. Will return here hopefully every year! We had a pool front room that was absoloutly incredidable. Walking distance to the main area in Fira. We booked an amazing day tour through the front desk for wine tour , Oia, and black beach higghly reccomend!

    Very helpful, cheerful staff, who offer to support you in finding out about local events and places to visit. The hotel is spotless, very clean and welcoming rooms, complete with air conditioning, which is essential if visiting in July-August! Hotel staff are more than happy to sort transfers to and from the airport. The views from the hotel are stunning (from a room with a volcano view). Road outside if noisy, if you are a light sleeper, ear plugs are crucial. Cannot recommend the hotel enough.
