  The highest rooftop between OIA, Imerovigli and FIRA.

  One of the best parts about our trip was our accommodation. I love when we choose to spend our money at a place that has outstanding service, is customer centric, and cares about our experience. The breakfast was top notch. The Hotel operator was lovely, he was attentive, and nothing we asked for was unnaccommodatable. Lampros helped us out on our departing day by holding our bags while we toured for the day. It took me a long time to select a hotel as there are maybe 1000 to choose from, however Avista had everything for a great price. Rooftop tub, a gorgeous view of the Caldera, and a perfect hotel room. The hotel room was very clean and was cleaned daily. This area is quiet too and more layed back and intimate. It was in a great location, and landmarked beside the tallest point between Fira and OIA, which made it easy to find our way home, this also speaks to the view we had here. There arent any stairs to access the hotel room, other than to access the rooftop. Accessibility was great. You can walk to FIRA which takes 30 minutes, or you can walk to OIA day time only as the path is not probably lit up at night and is more rugged and this took about 1.5 -2 hours. The trek to OIA was not casual it was more of a hike, however the walk to FIRA was. Imerovigli had everything we needed, FIRA was a bit more exciting and OIA felt the most touristy. I should mention there is a small grocery store within a couple minutes walk and a pharmacy nearby with multiple coffee shops and fasion stores. It really does have every thing you would need. We would stay here again if we came back for sure. The hotel had great value. Another detail i will mention is i was worried about the privacy on the rooftop tubs and they are situated in a way that makes them private enough and i didnt feel like they werent private enough. Upon arrival: We used "welcome taxis" to pick us up which worked great and was easy. Upon Departure: We walked to FIRA and then took a bus to the airport. Our favorite restuarant was in Imerovigli actually called Anogi. Good food nice staff. No view, but good service and good quality food. Make sure to book Spiradakos sailing tour, the people are awesome that run it and the experience was very memorable.   Beautiful views and heartfelt hospitality

  My daughter and I stayed at Avista Suites in late September, and our stay was truly amazing! From the moment we arrived, Lampros welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we instantly felt at home. The view from the rooftop terrace was absolutely stunning — the perfect spot for the two of us to relax and enjoy Santorini’s beauty together.What really touched us was Lampros’s genuine care and thoughtfulness. We had accidentally left our AirPods in a bathrobe we sent for laundry, and he kindly found and returned them to us.   Stunning accommodation in the best island location

  Let's start with why imerovigli: it is centrally located on the rim of the caldera and offers stunning views. Yet, it's away from the much higher crowds you will experience in Fira and Oia. We visited in the Autumn shoulder season, so I can still imagine Imerovigli gets busier at the peak, but am sure it will remain the quieter location. It offers stunning views of the sunsets which Santorini is so very famous for. Imerovigli is situated on the path from Fira to Oia and the rim walk to Oia is well worth it if you don't mind a bit of a hike. The trail to Firs is much shorter, and all gently downhill. Imerovigli is also well situated for the bargain bus travel on the island with a quick connection in and out of the hub in Fira. Avista Suites is perches atop of the caldera rim, so there are no steep steps down to the accommodation, and it's within an easy reach of those buses to and from Fira and beyond, a grocery store, and many fine restaurants. Making it a perfect location within the village. The hosts are just magic. You will not find any finer people on the planet. They will make you feel so welcome and be your friend throughout your stay,.always smiling, interested in you and making sure you are comfortable and meeting your vacation goals, no matter what they are. The rooms are fresh, bright, clean, and comfortable. We wanted for nothing during our stay. The rooftop patio for our room was a slightly tricky ascent however oh so worth it. most nights we were up there watching the sun sink into the Agean, and enjoying some wine before we headed out to dinner. In short, fabulous accommodation, fabulous people. It was a totally perfect stay. Loved every minute of being at Avista Suites.   We had a wonderful time in Imerovigli staying at Avista Suites. The room was very comfortable, rooftop terrace was breathtaking, NO steps lugging luggage (yeah) and our host (owner) was marvelous. Close walking distance to restaurants shopping and other things. Definitely recommend Avista Suites for your stay.   Unmatched Caldera Views and World-Class Hospitality at Avista Suites

  We stayed at Avista Suites Santorini in the Suite with Sea View, and it was an experience we will never forget. The suite was both spacious and comfortable, with a living room, a master bedroom, and a loft space that gave us extra room and direct access to the rooftop terrace. The master bedroom also included a small connecting room with a stool, mirror, and natural light which was perfect for doing make-up or getting ready while enjoying the island sunshine. From the rooftop terrace, the view over the caldera was truly unmatchedmm where we could watch the volcano and the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen, all from our private rooftop pool with jets. The beds were very comfortable, the minimalist décor matched the island vibe perfectly, and the suite was equipped with everything we needed: Nespresso, mini fridge, toiletries, bathrobes, and even an iron.A wonderful touch was the complimentary breakfast, which added convenience and quality to our mornings. Each day we selected from a sheet of options and returned it to either Lampros or the cleaning staff. The next morning, breakfast was delivered right to our suite at our chosen time between 8:30 and 11:00. The food was tasty, with plenty of options, and enjoying it on the terrace while overlooking the caldera was a perfect start to the day.The property itself is located at the highest point of the caldera, giving it arguably the best view in Santorini. While it is about 2 km from Fira and 8 km from Oia, we found this to be a positive as the area was quieter and much more relaxing than the busy towns. We enjoyed walking the scenic path into Fira, and with nearby rental options and a reliable bus system, exploring the island was effortless.Service was impeccable. The cleaner visited daily, keeping everything spotless, including the pool. The owner, Lampros, is one of the most caring and genuine hosts we’ve ever met. He greeted us personally, carried our luggage, and went out of his way to provide local tips, restaurant and wine recommendations, and insights into the island’s history. He checked in on us periodically, always with warmth but never intrusively. The honesty of the staff also deserves praise like when a necklace was accidentally thrown out, it was saved and returned to us.Lampros is also highly responsive, whether in person, online, or via WhatsApp, and always greets you with a smile. His passion for hospitality is clear, and it makes Avista Suites feel less like a hotel and more like a second home.We cannot recommend this property enough for anyone looking for a romantic, peaceful, and authentic Santorini experience with world-class service and unforgettable views.
