    Avoid at all costs

    rating12 Oct 2025

We had booked suites but we had difficulty finding them. This hotel does not have a reception, therefore you need to check into hotel next door (San Marco Hotel) . We then had to go through different buildings to get to the accommodation. Once you are in the building, it was like a maze. You need to take an elevator, then go down a set of stairs, then get another elevation to go up another set of stairs before reaching your room. The suites are spacious with kitchens and no utilities.. There was no air conditioning making the rooms very hot. The rooms did not have a warm atmosphere and the beds were not very comfortable. We requested an extra pillow and never received it. Hot water ran out after 2 minutes of showering and the soap dispenser was broken. The staff at the reception were not friendly and very unhelpful. Everything you requested was a bother to them. The breakfast room was also in another building. Breakfast was ok with not a huge selection and when things ran out, you needed to ask a staff member to top the buffet up. Suites are in a great location, only a 2 minute walk to San Marco square. Overall you do not get your value for money.

Premium rooms are a scam. Stay somewhere else.

This is my second review as I was hoping they would make their booking right. We'll, its going on five weeks later and they didn't. Their third-party bookings are a scam. They book premium rooms but will sell them at a higher price and give the lower paid person a different room. We paid for a canal junior suite and had the confirmation to prove it. What we got was a regular junior suite and they pretty much told us to take a long walk off a short venetian pier. Read through the reviews, they do it often! Stay somewhere else, you will thank me later!

excellent location but standalone suites - check in address is incorrect.

    rating29 Sept 2024

Excellent location. Great Room sizes. But please note that these are stand alone apartment suites NOT CONNECTED to the main hotel. The check in IS NOT AT THE ADDRESS MENTIONED .It is at the main hotel which runs the suites ACROSS 2 STREETS . The Hotel Management has not communicated this anywhere so you end up having to reach your suite , then call random number written on a sheet of paper stuck to the door to realize you have to drag your luggage to a different street to check in and then drag it back to the address mentioned above. And this excercise is made worse if you arrive late hours. So since these suites are in a seperate building , note that ALL INCLUSIONS like front desk, concierge, breakfast, Ironing (only in the hotel corridor ) is a walk across two streets. Senior Citizens note that the elevator begins at midlanding of the staircase so you have carry your bags up half a flight of steps. the pictures show a kitchenette but not that it not equppied with anything to use it other than water glasses and a microwave. the balcony is nice but is adjacent to the Bell tower , so those who like a quiet space might find the periodic bell sounds uncomfortable. Wish the hotel mangement had added a safety latch on the inside of the room door as for a solo traveller this is an important safety feature.

Way to expensive for what you get.

It felt that the furniture, mattresses, sofas of the hotel room had not been updated since at least the 1950's. Extremely uncomfortable - sheets and bedding were sub par. The toiletries were generic and base. Way too much money for the accommodations. The breakfast was fine and the service was agreeable.

We stayed here from the 9th to the 14th March. When we arrived the staff on the desk were friendly and showed us to our suit which was a maze of different buildings and stairs to get to it. Id booked a suit with 2 beds and a sofa bed with x2 bathrooms but wed been given one bed a sofabed and 1x bathroom. The suit had several locked doors which were extra rooms. I went to reception and the friendly staff turned out not to be so friendly when I told them the issues. Id booked through lastminute.com and their description of the suits was different to theres so better communication is needed. A member of staff came to the room and said she could make up the sofa bed but the bathroom she couldnt open as it was out of use. In the end they reluctantly moved us but the manager was clearly annoyed and very rude. The suit had a kitchenette but it had no utencils. No kettle or coffee machine or tea and coffee as advertised. Which lets face it, is standard in most hotels to have tea and coffee. Very basic toiletries. It was very well located to the main square. Breakfast was average. Overall ive stayed in better.
