    The Room with Detergent Smell

    Before you book this hotel, let's hear my questions. Would you like a room where it is so next to the road for any strangers might pass by 24/7. Would you like a hotel where the counter staff only works from 8.00am to 4.00pm. Would you like a hotel which store your luggage until 1.00pm. Georgia said she will put the luggages outside the hotel if guests are late to collect their luggage. Would you like a room like no.7 with constant smell of washing detergent? The hotel is attached to a restaurant. The laundry and washing detergent smell sip into the window of our room throughout the day except late at night. Georgia says it's just a room perfume. I got headaches from the intense smell. The location is excellent near to many eateries, Fira bus terminal and luggage storage J&K. The room air conditioner has uncontrollable fan speed. The bathroom is gloomy with dirty basin. Shower pressure is strong but hot water came out yellowish. The bath towels are all torn and smelly. Kettle boiler has a layer of stains. We cannot do anything because the office is closed by 4.00pm. Fortunately we stayed 1 night otherwise we could go crazy.

    First impressions were good. Centrally situated and clean. But the bathroom/shower floor was extremely slippery when wet. There was no shower mat or grip rails. Deluxe it is not.We were only there for 3 nights and expected housekeeping each day to at least empty the bins but on questioning why we had none, we were told that we had to request it due to privacy concerns....we were not told this on check in.Constant noise from the road, so broken sleep. On the last night there were extremely noisy guests who woke us at 1am.Beds were clean and comfy. Shower was hot and powerful Towels were starting to shred around the edges.Electric socket by the fridge was loose.There was a smell of gas from the restaurant next door. Workmen commenced work on it at 7:30am, so another disrupted morning.Reception only open in the morning for a couple of hours, so no immediate response to queries.Disappointed with the accommodation.

    This place was nice however the heater wasn’t working the first night and I froze pretty bad. They wouldn’t compensate me at all for the loss of heat and for getting sick because of it. The hostess was really nice and helpful but the hotel manager is not a good customer service care taker. I would avoid this place Anastasia Bakirtzakis, Owner at Central Fira Suites, responded to this review Thank you for your review.We appreciate your feedback and regret that you experienced discomfort during your first night. The air conditioning unit in your room was fully functional for both cooling and heating, but it appears there was difficulty in adjusting the settings. As our reception operates within specific hours, we were unfortunately unavailable at 1:00 AM when you attempted to reach us.However, the following day, we promptly upgraded you to our best available room and personally demonstrated how the heating system was functioning correctly in your original room. We strive to provide the best possible service and regret any inconvenience you may have experienced.We appreciate your understanding and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again under better circumstances.

    The receptionist was extremely helpful and welcoming. The rooms were clean and it is conveniently located within walking distance of several restaurants. We were picked up from the airport and told the best options for restaurants and places to visit.

    It's in the city centre. Neat and clean rooms with all the amenities. Bathrobes. Nice and comfortable bed.Cable car is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. And scenic walk is next to Cable Car station.It's less than 7 minutes walk from central bus station where bus from the airport arrives. Many different island buses leave from this bus station.Man at the reception was very friendly and helpful. He (sorry, I forgot his name) shown on map important points to visit.In short, hotel is located near all the important attractions and restaurants too.Breakfast served in room and is not expensive
