  We had lunch at their taverna. Good food and good service. Definitely would return here. Reasonable prices. I could not find a listing so put this under the hotel with the same name, hope you can find it & this is helpful.

  Not a bad place to stay but orginally got a room at lignos when checking in there was a note on the door to go to blue sky the reason for that was lignos did not have a pool but blue sky did so we chose blue sky i paid for the lignos room through PayPal at blue sky i was told that was just to reserve the room so I was charged again, upon checking out thank goodness I checked my account because I was charged twice and it was NOT easy getting my money back we had to make a big deal about it but eventually I was reimbursed. Other than that issue blue sky was nice and the pool was nice not a bad place to stay.

  DOES THIS HOTEL AND ITS STAFF EVEN KNOW THAT THEY ARE IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY?

  My husband and I are currently staying at Blue Sky Hotel and I can’t help but give a review ASAP to warn others. I hope that after our stay, I won’t need to add to the list below.1. We checked in at Hotel Lignos because our priority was the location. But for some reason, Hotel Lignos does not respect customers’ bookings and they transferred us to Blue Sky Hotel instead. I heard there’s only 1 owner for both hotels. Fine with us because we thought that Blue Sky Hotel was nice anyway. But it’s farther from Fira center and the walk up to Fira is uphill all the way. So it’s a negative for this hotel’s location.2. THIS IS THE WORST PART FOR ME. The afternoon hotel receptionist at Blue Sky Hotel made my husband throw our meal garbage outside of the hotel. WHAT KIND OF HOTEL DOES THAT??? Are you sure you’re a hotel? Call yourself Blue Sky House or Hostel and save your customers the disappointments. I’m not particular when it comes to hotels and we always expect the value that we pay for. But that was flat out rude and unprofessional. I have been to 2 and 3 star hotels and we were never asked to throw out garbage outside of the hotel and take note, the garbage bins were not even in front or beside the hotel. You need to walk farther in front of the next, next hotel. Very, very rude and uncalled for.3. They don’t provide glasses, plates, nor utensils like any HOTEL would normally do. Everything is in their pantry. Their pantry is like a kitchen w/ several tables and chairs. The WORST AND SURPRISING part is - you cannot eat in the tables and chairs provided by the hotel. WHY IS THAT??? And you cannot bring up glasses, plates, nor utensils to your rooms. You can only use them and eat outside the hotel’s receiving area (there are tables and chairs outside too). VERY INCONVENIENT. And as if that weren’t enough, they made us throw the garbage outside of the hotel as mentioned in number 2 above. If those are your rules as a hotel, we will respect them. But we are never going back again and we cannot wait to check out on the 29th. And PLEASE do prospective clients a favor and call yourself a house or hostel because you’re acting like one. And do not even try to charge us extra when we check out because you decided to transfer us to your hotel instead of Hotel Lignos.

  We stayed in the hotel within a 2-days tour in Santorini. For 1 night stay it's not that bad. Has a pool, the location is close,quite place. The breakfast was awful but at least there was some food. Would rate the hotel as not that bad

  went to santorini for a one night stay at the blue sky ended up being stuck there for three nights due to bad weather and no boats, but the hotel coped with us well, very basic greek building, no soundproofing, when a door slammed everybody heard it, breakfast was not good, and the location was not the best, a 15 minute steady climb to get to the main square where anyone with oxygen would make a fortune. very crowded place that is now struggling to cope. would not do an overnight again, daytrip is enough.
