Location

The hotel is set in a picturesque hamlet situated on the cliffs above the beautiful caldera, with an enchanting view of the endless Aegean Sea and the volcano. Oia's centre is a short walk away and offers a variety of traditional gift shops, restaurants and mini markets. The beach at Katharos is around 1 km away. Oia's Old Castle is some 500 m from the hotel. Santorini (Thira) National Airport is around 30 km away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 17 rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room.     Surpassed my expectations!!This team was so attentive to every need/ went well beyond to ensure our Anniversary was perfect! From responding quickly to my e mails and arranging transfers to ensuring our anniversary meal was unforgettable - they were great! The villa had the most spectacular view of the Caldera and sunsets!     We made a reservation at Fanari Villas. Our flight was to get in late at night and the hotel contacted us to check to see our status. Our flight was actually unable to land and had to return to Athens with a new flight very early the next morning. When we arrived in Santorini very early the hotel had someone outside to help us with our luggage. It was dark outside. We went to bed and when we woke we could not believe how beautiful the view was from our balcony. The views from the hotel are exquisite. The rooms divine. Everything was spotless. The hotel has a small restaurant that serves wonderful food. The staff for the restaurant are excellent.     Whether your room is easily accessed at the top or down the paths of many steps, you will feel like you have finally arrived in a paradise and it was worth the effort. The staff are attentive and fabulous, the rooms are all uniquely different and the views are gobsmackingly gorgeous from every angle.The cave like room designs mean you can totally relax in privacy. The rooms are immaculately cleaned discreet staff, the timber floors, tiling and gorgeous bedding and furniture are all special.The restaurant was lovely and the sunrises and sunsets from the privacy of Fanari must be experienced at least once in your lifetime if you can manage it.     Fanari Villas were everything we hoped for and more! The views speak for themselves but even better was the staff there. Penelope and her colleague Andriene (sp?) at the front desk were amazing! Kind, patient and so helpful. Their suggestions, directions and recommendations were wonderful. When we left we felt like we were saying goodbye to family. The location was perfect and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast every morning was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel!     World class service from point of entry through the kitchen

    Perfect place for peace and solitude. Usually I can find something wrong with a property but not in this case. This comes from someone that has visited 59 countries. Thomas was a service trend setter. Go Thomas. No stone was left unturned. We had a chance to meet the owner who built the place. A vision for ingenuity for sure. Other than the walking steps ( all have this issues in Oia cliff accommodations, it was superb. Would highly recommended to any couple looking for a place to relax. TIP- catch the boat at Fira and a smaller intimate boat dinner / sunset instead of the cattle boats that leave Oia. They are not bad just too many people.
