  My husband and I had booked this hotel for June of 2020 well before the pandemic had begun. When the travel advisory was announced we could not travel, I was in contact with the manager and he said when they reopened they would refund us our money. When I contacted him about if again he said they needed a few more months and they would refund us. A few months went by and I contacted Phillip again. He has never responded since.

  I stayed at the hotel from the 31st of July to the 7th of August 2022 and it was an experience! I was at the hotel with a group of “Avventure nel mondo”. The hotel does not provide any breakfast and the cleaning was really bad, we just tried to clean the floor with a towel and it turned black very quickly. No air conditioning working. No hair dryer working. The lady at the reception was very rude. The nice hotel next to it provided a nice buffet breakfast so we used to go there just to see how it should have been. All this was, anyway, acceptable as with “Avventure” organisation some unexpected situations are possible, but what was, instead, unacceptable, and illegal, was the fact that most of the people of the group, and also me, had some objects missing ( clothes, costumes, jewellery…). I have informed our contact man, Philippos, about it and to ask the lady about some very important rings to me that have disappeared. I personally asked the lady about them, but they said they did not find them. I am sure the rings were with me at the hotel and not to have lost outside, also a new t-shirt bought in Santorini disappeared. The other participants started to notice that some items of their belongings were missing too once at home. I think there was someone just picking up from now and then what they liked.This is absolute illegal and the review is to warn the other lodgers.

  Returned from a weeks holiday staying here and had no problems at all. Room was spacious, clean and en-suite was fine. It’s in a transition period under new management who are making refurbs to the rooms and hotel grounds. The manager sorted out our air conditioning system when it didn’t work and was always around the hotel site if needed. The Pool was great and from what I saw of other hotel pools ours was a good size... you could actually swim in it. Santorini is a relax and do nothing place. Eating out is about the same price as uk but the clothes shops and other tourist shops are expensive. I

  This place just renovated the pool so disregard the empty pool pics. It is an awesome pool—-awesome! It is a long enough walk away from town but short enough to go. YOU want this luxury! They also have a parking lot you actually can park in—YOU WANT THIS. Rooms are basic—no frills. NONE. Two USB ports, no tv, small fridge, limited toiletries, quaint veranda off room with table chairs drying rack. Curtains, bedding and shower curtains need updated just old worn looking. Overall manager good—nice guy. Hidden gem is why rating. For price it was good. You want “swank” go to Oia.   OK if the price is right

  Just stayed here one night on route to Santorini airport after a holiday island hopping.Fira seems quite expensive and we stayed at this hotel because the price was right.Quite nice swimming pool.Rooms rather basic but OK.Breakfast is extra and basic.Be cautious if you are arriving late as I think the reception shuts at 6.0 pm.Chinese family arrived late at night and we found them in the morning sat in the empty bar / breakfast area waiting for someone to arrive who could let them into their booked rooms.Also at the bottom of the hill inFira whereas the old town of Fira and the tourist area is at the top.This makes for a trek uphill in hot weather. firabluehorizon, Manager at Fira Blue Horizon, responded to this review The Chinese family that you mentioned had booked for the next day and arrived 04:00 and they could only check-in at 12:00 because the hotel was fully booked.Try to be careful what you write because it is inaccurate and offendingBest Regards.
