    Great Couples Stay

    The staff at Gizis are very kind and accommodating and the room was clean and comfortable. We chose to stay here as it was significantly more affordable than staying in Oia or Fira, and we had a nice room with a jacuzzi and beautiful sunset view of the Caldera. Parking is a bit tight but we rented a small car, which I would recommend, since you are a long walk from the main points in Santorini. Free breakfast here was good too. Gizis staff helped us easily book our catamaran cruise which was the highlight of our Santorini visit. I would stay at Gizis again!

    Great experience. Unbelievable views ! Maria at front desk was wonderful and incredibly helpful. We loved this hotel! Very clean. Lovely pool and perfect location for us - we had a car. Didnt want to stay with the crowds and this was perfect in between. Was upgraded to a room with a hot tub which was very nice. Felt like a great value

    A Peaceful Retreat with Exceptional Views and Staff

    We stayed at Gizis Exclusive in mid-June and had a lovely experience. Our stay was part of a package we purchased at a fundraising auction. The view of caldera was breath-taking and the staff was top notch. On our first day there, I fell (not on the property) and needed medical attention and the staff went above and beyond to take care of us. The food for breakfast was classic Greek items and not too heavy. The breakfast host was one of the nicest people we encountered during our trip. He got to know us over our 5 night stay. The office staff was exceptional in helping us book excursions and a rental car during our stay.The room was nicely appointed with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Being located outside of Fira and Oia had its benefits because it was peaceful and actually ideal for our trip but having a car or taking a car service was essential to get to the other attractions on the island. I know that there is much in the news about Santorini being saturated with tourists, however, we found that to only be the case during the height of the day when cruise ship visitors were there. Otherwise we found it to be a delight. The people were friendly and very hospitable. We would come back again!

    We were greeted at reception by an unfriendly “I am the general manager and I have been waiting for you”. This was at 5pm in the afternoon. It did not make us feel welcome at all. We were originally going to stay three nights but left after two. The hotel was empty yesterday we only had a choice of two rooms, one next to the building site next door. When we asked if there was work going on at the moment we were told it wasn’t there j Jo on to know it and the couldn’t confirm or deny it! The bed was comfortable, there was a strange smell? We couldn’t work out what it was. The room was very clean. The view was exxeptional, the breakfast was not to our taste - buffet style bread, cake, soggy Greek salad and coleslaw(not fresh) bacon or katana cut up small and fried , hard boiled eggs or overcooked scrambled eggs, nothing fresh or tempting. The cook also handed us two small bottles of room temperature water.Staff were all lovely apart from the important General Manager who had zero people skills. After two days we moved to a family run hotel in Fira that cost half of the price and very welcoming. As per our phone call and email, you asked for room, cheepest one, even we show to you more than 3 rooms and you hade option, then you paid for the Standard double room only for 2 days. After 2 days off stay you came to reception and start looking for less price asking if you can take room only, knowing that our rates are with breakfst. After first night at our accommodation you culd come to reception and tell as that you have complain on brekfast, you never did. Unfortunately we didn't have another room available as we was expecting group of 22 people and as per room tipe we didn't have another room at the price you paid for previuse stay.Amenities is change and that depence what we will find on market, since we are far from main land. About the property next to us, unfortunately I can't confirm something what I don't know.     Amazng views, lovely hotel and good location

    We stayed here for five nights on our honeymoon in September, what a lovely little hotel in a peaceful location! The views of the caldera are incredible, staff were excellent and always happy to help with any requests. Lovely breakfast included with views of the caldera. The room had everything we needed, location wise it's placed on the walking path between Fira and Oia, a 10 minute walk up the hill into Imerovigli. Would definitely recommend!
