  Good hotel and nice services. For the price of the room bath slippers should be included without separate purchase. Especially so because the free use of spa area is already included in the room price.

  New rooms. Nothing to complain and sound insulation top. Love the carpet in the common areas. Spa was decent and but maybe a small upgrade to the showers and saunas wouldn't harm. Skiing possibilities close but was surprised of the lack of maintained skiing tracks. One of the best locations you can have next to or practically in a city.

  Worst Scandic experience ever

  -Room was too hot-Spa was small, crowded and water was cold-Showers were few and water temperature was fluctuating-Breakfast guests didn't queue so it was chaotic. Breakfast area felt dirty compared to other Scandic hotels. -Room was not properly cleaned. Especially bathroom was disgusting: there were poo and pee on the floor and toalet and bathroom trashcan was not emptied. Reception was informed and receptionist went to clean it up but didn't do proper job. It was dirty even after. No apology was done, no room was offered to change. I will never bring my family to this hotel again and if it ever happens again I will think again if I will ever use the Scandic chain again. We usually stay at Scandic Station and nothing like this has ever happened. I cannot imagine this happening there. Totally outrageous. Very disappointed. Just because it's a busy season it is not an acceptable excuse to put people into a room that hasn't been cleaned from human waste in the bathroom.

  Wonderful stay at Scandic Laajavuori, Jyväskylä

  The fine traditional hotel Laajavuori had been renovated. The spacious rooms were tastefully decorated. The visit was crowned by relaxing at the spa, which had also been refurbished. Additionally, there were great outdoor activities right near the hotel and, on top of everything, friendly staff!   The "Spa" is Not worth the price. Very small area: just few pool areas. It was quite outdated and did not serve any value beyond regular public swimming pool. For the price, I expected a much more relaxing environment. For one adult and a child it costed 40e. Just a plain swimming area with few saunas. We have different rates for our Spa for different times of the day and depending if it is a holiday season or not. The most expensive tickets are on weekends and public holidays. The most affordable tickets you can purchase Mon-Thursday before 2pm and for adult and child the ticket would be 29,40€. For the evenings on the weekdays tickets would be 34,80€ and all the other times the tickets are on highest price. Hopefully we will see you again at Scandic Laajavuori. Have a nice week!
