Location

This hotel is located near the Santorini nightlife in Fira, situated only about 400 m from the town centre. Guests will reach the shingle Kamari beach in about 9 km.

    I just left my room 29 (earlier due to a confusion with the flight time). This hotel went above my expectations. My room was comfortable and had everything I could expect - a private bathroom, a balcony, an aircon… very good deal as the price is very convenient. Also the location was in the center, and very quiet and relaxing. The owner also was very kind to me and always available, he even knew my language (Italian). There is a fee of 15€ to pay to the property on top of the price, and the breakfast yet small is also good.Great for the price, next time in Santorini (which will be my 3rd one) will definitely come back to this hotel.

    Stayed for 4 nights at the King Thiras Hotel, Fira, Santorini. It's up a steep hill. This is good, low-cost accommodation. The family who run this small hotel are pleasant, friendly and flexible. Breakfast is a basic 'continental'. The hotel room was clean, there was a fridge and hairdryer, towels were changed every day, and the beds were comfortable. Bring your own travel kettle, teaspoon, mugs, and tea/coffee if you want hot drinks in your room. It's a 10-minute walk to get to the bustling centre of Fira, but quiet enough at night in the room. Visit Yogi, on the main drag, for gyros and sticks. Small supermarkets are a few minutes walk in each direction. Santorini is slightly expensive in comparison to, for example, Corfu. We had a great time. Happy days :)

    This was a simple hotel within a walking distance (about 15 minutes) to the center of Fira. The owner was great and showed a lot of hospitality. He provided us with maps and transportation schedule. The room was not updated but was normal size. The bathroom was large. The only downside was breakfast which was very plain (boiled eggs, toast, yogurt).

    In my review of the King Thiras in 2019 I said that we would not consider staying anywhere else on our next visit to Santorini. We returned this year (June 2023) and my opinion of the hotel still stands - it is an excellent base for visiting the island and deserves all the praise it gets from its customers. I am sure that this will not be our last visit.

    King Thiras is family- owned 17 rooms hotel. The room is cozy and clean. We can see beautiful view of the catholic church and blue dorm church all the time. The location is so convenient with 10 mins walk to center, to bus station and to Thira square. The room rate includes good breakfast with soft music which gives us a good start of the day. Breakfast is served from 8 am to 11 am so we can have brunch around 10.30 . Thank you Emmanuel for your kindness and very good local knowledges .
