  Comfortable, safe and close to all

  I just returned from a trip to Santorini as a solo traveler with a painting group. I was a bit apprehensive having never done it before but I felt safe and taken care of by Melina! I had a small room with a twin size bed but it had everything I needed including a patio with a view of the water. I can’t say enough about Melina’s homemade breakfast - I am still thinking about some of the Greek pastries and the yogurt we all had each morning. The location is perfect - walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Fira and so close to the grocery store that I walked back with my bags. Melina will go above and beyond and help you with anything you need. She helped usbook a wonderful day on a catamaran which was a highlight of the trip. Each night it felt like I was coming back to a friend’s home where I felt safe and comfortable and was also greeted my Melina’s adorable Yorkie !

  I stayed at Melina Hotel whilst on a painting holiday. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. On arrival the hotel owner, Melina , gave us a map and thorough explanation of where everything was and how to get around the island. She helped with booking excursions and taxis to the airport. Melina takes great pride in her hotel and it shows. Breakfast was typically Greek and tasty (spinach and cheese pies especially) and nothing was too much trouble. My room was spacious, quiet and right opposite the pool, which was great for early swims. It had a small balcony where I was able to dry my swimsuit and pool towels were provided on request. Kettles are not provided in the rooms as standard, but I asked for one and it was there within minutes. There was a fridge, safe, hairdryer and fresh towels each day.The hotel is within easy reach of the town and the Caldera with it's incredible views of the volcano and sunset and there are plenty of lovely restaurants to choose from.I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

  We booked your trip to Santorini via TUI travel agency and were recommended to stay at Melina Hotel *** for our 7-nights-stay, as we prefered being close to the city center and having two separate rooms.The hotel is as displayed and reviewed in a good condition, very clean and tidy with carefully tended plants and flowers, a lovely breakfast room and an extremely friendly owner, Melina Konstantinou. We were welcomed and treated like friends, being offered help with booking special trips and events and insider tips for quality food and not overpriced restaurants. We were offered fresh towels every day, on demand even for beach trips. Breakfast was typically greek and very delicious.One of our highlights was Bisou, Melina's little Yorkshire Terrier, who liked to be caresses by all the dog-lovers.Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would be happy to return to Melina's in case we are returning to Santorini :-)

  The hospitality received at Melina Hotel was faultless from the moment we entered this simply stunning property to the big hugs we received from Melina on our final day of our stay. This quaint, cosy & traditional hotel was spotlessly clean with impressive decor & cosy rooms that instantly made us feel 'at home' equipped with a small fridge & complimentary bottle of water, safe, hairdryer & iron/ ironing board (on request) The large balcony was a very welcome bonus!The continental breakfast was always fresh and varied; & catered for all palates and we always left with full bellies ready for the day ahead.Excellent area/ location with easy access to local shops, bars, restaurants in addition to the bus station, which issituated a stones throw away from the Hotel. This one of the best places I have ever stayed and I have already booked to return in 2026! Melina is a Ladyb who oozes warmth and is a spectacular Hostess. Thank you for your warm welcome, your kindness and for making our stay so enjoyable. Melina and her Team are total Professionals!

  Excellent location and place to start each day

  We stayed 4 days at Melina Hotel in Santorini and it was just enough to soak up everything the island has to offer.Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐About 5 minutes on foot from Fira and the local bus station, this place made getting around ridiculously easy. You’re close enough to the action, but far enough to enjoy quiet evenings. Clean & Comfortable: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆Rooms are spotless, well-maintained, and comfortable. They could use a bit of fresher decor, but for what we needed, rest and shower, it delivered beautifully. Hosts & Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Melina and Yiannis are simply wonderful. Always smiling and always helping. They helped us with restaurant suggestions, booking tours, figuring out what to do day-by-day. Their local tips made our trip feel personal. Food & Dining Recommendations:We loved Fanari, one they suggested and so much so that we ate there twice. It was that good: good atmosphere, good food, good memories and an amazing view!Overall: If you want a place that’s clean, welcoming, helpful, well-located, and authentic, not a flashy resort but a warm home base, this is your spot. Four days felt just right to see most of Santorini without being rushed.
