    Our week-long stay at RK Beach Hotel was quite enjoyable. The hotel's location is truly ideal, right at the beach with a fantastic selection of restaurants, bars, and shops all within easy walking distance.Our room was basic, but clean, comfortable, and well-maintained with daily towel changes and effective air conditioning. The breakfast offered a variety of tasty options to start the day. A particular highlight was Alex, whose constant presence and radiant smile ensured every morning began perfectly.The hotel staff were very responsive, friendly, and helpful. Special thanks to Petros, the owner, Anastasia, and Alex for their outstanding hospitality.!

    Awesome hotel. Before we even came Petro (manager) was responding to our questions, arranger our rooms to be next to each other, arrange cheaper taxi to Oia for us, gave us hotel towels for the beach last day do we can pack ours.Breakfast was rich, rooms were spacious and cleaned daily and wifi sigbal was good!

    We really enjoyed Kamari and the hotel. The hotel is on the beach walk, no cars is allowed so there is a 3-5 min walk from where the bus/taxi stops. Lots of restaurants and shops right outside the hotel. There are plenty of “beach clubs” all along the beach where you can stay for free as long as you buy drinks or lunch. Never crowded, chairs for everyone. The restaurant in front of the hotel (different owner but connected to the hotel) is very good and Alex on the beach is very service minded. The beach itself is black sand which gets very hot, shoes are recommended. The beach is not for children or elderly, it’s steep and gets deep very fast. There are a lot of massage saleswomen at the beach, they can be a bit pushy.The hotel is a bit quirky, the rooms are quite small. But it’s clean, has everything you need and the location is perfect. We stayed a week in a superior room with ocean view. You see and hear all planes landing but you are not right under them as in some hotels. The staff are amazing, everyone from reception, to housekeeping to breakfast were wonderful. The concierge were very helpful. The breakfast is basic with some variation everyday, we enjoyed it. The pool area is large compared to other hotels in the area. If we return to Kamari we would definitely consider RK again. I can highly recommend it, it’s great value for money.

    I suggest everyone not to skip this review because what we went through here during the vacation is extremely serious and left us speechless. First, when we first arrived at the hotel, the receptionist, Anastasia is her name, received us very impatiently. When we got to the room, we were surprised to find that the air conditioner in the room was not working properly. Therefore, we approached the receptionist, Anastasia is her name, and informed her that the air conditioner was not working. Her response was that she had nothing to do with it and that she could not change our room, and claimed that a technician would come the next day and fix the air conditioner. After many pleas that it was hot for us (the heat of Greece in the summer) she agreed to move us only for one night only. The next day the technician arrived and was unable to fix the problem, and again here her lack of care is evident - and said there was nothing to be done. Again, after many unpleasant pleas, she moved us to another room just for one night and claimed that tomorrow it would be taken care of. Of course, the next day the problem was not resolved and they told us that they did not have a free room for us to stay in and they did not even agree to return the money to us. In addition, the hotel employees claimed that we "dirty" their towels and asked us to pay 100 euros for it - definitely not reasonable. In conclusion, the hotel damaged our vacation and ruined it for us, the service and attitude are beyond criticism. We will not return to the hotel again, that's for sure.

    Best black beach on all of Santorini

    We stayed at the RK beach hotel for 5 days and had an good experience. The hotel is located right at the best beach on all of Santorini overlooking the sea. The hotel location is near the flight path of the island's airport (hence a 4 out of 5 stars). The pool is nice, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is so-so. The staff was super friendly. The best was the hotel pup, a white Alopekis, a small, very sweet foxlike dog breed that originates from the ancient Greeks. We recommend this hotel and the more private Kamari village over the mass tourist locations of Thira and Oia.
