    I write this review to provide balance as I think this place could be one of the very best in Perissa. Pros: location is great. Just behind the Perissa strip, literally a couple of minutes walk from the beach and restaurants etc. Service was good. Everyone friendly, cleaners did a good job, pool area well kept. Beautiful: the hotel itself was beautiful and boutique in style. White and blue building with a quirky layout. Cons: a few frustrations such as broken clothesline (which you need to dry off towels, swimwear etc) and the shower was minuscule. Once you’re in it, the shower curtain sticks to you as soon as you bend or turn etc. Impossible not to shower without drenching the whole bathroom floor. Overall: we recommend Samson’s and would stay here again. We remember it fondly and thought it was good value.

    Hidden treasure!

    Samson’s Village is a hidden treasure in the heart of Perissa, and was the perfect venue for our family (of five). The complex has a relaxed vibe, is not too big and is beautifully presented in quintessential blue and white. We stayed in two apartments: a 2-bed and a 3-bed, which were very clean and had everything we needed. The location is also second to none being just a few minutes’ walk away from the beach and many local restaurants. The team running Samsons village (led by John) were extremely polite, helpful and always friendly. Our highlight each day was the fabulous & friendly breakfast served by Kostas each morning by the pool. We all loved our holiday and we very much look forward to visiting again one day.

    I stayed with my family at this hotel, and it was fantastic, exactly what we expected (what you see in the photos is exactly what you get). From the tranquility, the location just 50 meters from the beach, to the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff (the receptionist was impeccable), to the very cleanliness (inside and out), everything was excellent. I highly recommend it to everyone. Excellent value for money. Thank you, and I hope to return!

    5 stars!!!This hotel is just perfect, very traditional Greek feel about it. The hotle is so pretty and quiet its literally perfect and well worth the price! The rooms are somewhat dated however we thought this added to the Greek feel and had no issues with the rooms. Always clean and was comfortable. The hotel probably only has 20 rooms so it was very quiet and relaxing! The pool area was always chilled out and calm. The staff are brilliant! So lovely and friendly, they looked after us so well! From the receptionist to the cleaners everyone is amazing! Kosta the young man who works here is a credit to the hotel! Please tip these people as they deserve it!The 2 resident cats are also a big credit to the hotel!The hotel is in a great location with plenty of shops and restaurants near by, bus stop also a few minutes walk away.We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

    Amazing hotel in Santorini.. room was spacious and clean, staff were extremely attentive and polite. Pool was perfect very clean and great for swimming or relaxing alongside. has the perfect location for visiting the beach, special thanks to ioannis for looking after us you have been a brilliant host and have helped very much on our holiday and made it an even better experience. It’s much appreciated and we will defiantly be back soon 🤝
