  Amazing hotel

  We had an amazing 4-night stay at Sole d’oro Luxury Suites and honestly, everything was perfect from start to finish.From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality and attention to detail, and it really made our stay even more special.The apartment was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing — exactly what we were looking for. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the apartment had everything we needed for a perfect stay.Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. We really appreciated being able to enjoy it either at the bar or in our apartment, which added a lovely touch of comfort and convenience.The location is also excellent, only about a 10-minute walk from the center of Oia, so it was easy to explore while still enjoying a quiet and relaxing area away from the crowds.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Sole d’oro Luxury Suites to anyone visiting Oia. A true 5-star stay, and we would definitely love to come back.

  Think twice to book, No customer service, lost money for the hotel we didn’t stay!!

  Please be cautioned before booking this hotel “Sole D’Oro Santorini , Oia “ .We’re from USA and booked this hotel from April 2nd-5th. We are a family of 3 with a small child. We had to cancel our trip for family emergency. As soon as we knew we had to cancel the trip we contacted the hotel directly through the reservation department email, Whatapps number given on the hotel website & thru our agent Expedia. Absolutely no response from any side from the hotel(Infact Expedia tried contacting the property). So we decided to message them in social media -FB ( I also reviewed them on FB with all conversations screenshots , they managed to delete the comment & turned off the page review so no real person can write- that exactly shows their credibility). After many attempts they responded that they would forward the message and mentioned that the hotel is closed until April 4th ( but we had reservations from April 2nd which is weird, if not able to answer customers with booking during weekends-holidays/ festivals then don’t open the hotel for reservations, Period!!!!) . Finally after tons of emails and contacting them thru different means they responded saying they would issue a voucher before the mentioned date ( the date they sent email - not sure how’s its possible to cancel before the date when they sent delayed response email on the same date - meaning the other hand they don’t want to, Also only asking us to cancel reservation without giving proper instructions how to cancel). We immediately responded the very same date within **few minutes of the hotel sent the email formally asking them to cancel and to issue refund. Again no response for a week (they want money from different time zones / country people but they give reasons as not a working day to reply for an email with reservations on weekends). Again when we sent email they are saying that they cannot cancel and issue credit after the date( like we expected and that why they sent email on the same day they wanted us to cancel). Infact we provided all proof for medical emergency, medical records - flight tickets we booked to visit our family for the same date we had reservations with the hotel . And have proof of everything regarding when the mails were sent and what they replied. Basically zero customer service and no person anywhere to answer if you have a problem . Don’t trust this hotel with all the social media reviews (everything can be a fake people writing reviews with fake picture in the profile, all you need is to have a email id or pay someone to write it to look real). If something changes in your plan( especially with everything going around the world including climatic changes & flight cancellations or even if you have questions regarding your reservation with them , at that point forget about your money and customer service. After so much headaches no one will ever want to go back . We lost money for the hotel we didn’t stay . Better to book big hotels even if it costs few extra dollars with proper reception/ Front desk & customer care .

  Beautiful views, delicious food, and wonderful staff!

  My wife and I went toward the end of the tourist season so it was pretty quiet. Sole d'Oro was the perfect location for us, it was nice and quiet but only a 5-10 minute walk from the shops and restaurants of downtown Oia. Great ocean and sunset views from the rooftop hot tubs (!) and the included breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were perfectly clean and well maintained. But the staff were the best part! Ljupka, Giannis, and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and generous.

  Great accommodations in Oia, Santorini

  The staff at Sole doors was excellent and very attentive. The property and rooms were all spotless. The included breakfast had a variety of options and the waitstaff were very gracious. The woman at reception, Lupka (sp?), was extremely welcoming and helpful and offered great information and referrals for the activities we were interested in. The rooms were best designed for shorter stays. Our room had hangers, but no drawers.The hottub assigned to our room was up on the roof with nice views. The cold pool was on the small side, good for dunking on hot days, but we were there in October and did not get in.It's about a 5 minute walk to the main retail area of Oia. Lots of shopping and excellent restaurants abound.While there, you will be very close to the trail from Oia to Fira -- about 6 miles with great scenery throughout. Highly recommended if reasonably fit.

  From the moment we arrived we were taken care of and shown around. The staff are eager to be helpful and friendly.The free breakfast is delicious and plenty of tasty foods. Great coffee! 5-10 min to center of Oia. And they personally walked us to see the best sunset views. I also recommend the walk/ hike to Fira. Rooms were nice, and hot tub was warm. Along with beautiful views.
