    An exhausting place to reach...but where's the staff?

    The property and our room had a basically nice design, fantastic view of the sea. It was located just 5 mins. by car from Oia. But even before you check in, you can already see the inconveniences. First the property's parking lot, though spacious, is not just far but is at an incline right beside the main road. Which means that you'd have to walk up a stony stairway every time you need to go somewhere, especially when it's check out time and you have to haul your bags to your rental car. So this place is not for those with mobility issues. And no, the property does not have a bell or concierge service to help you with your bags. When we checked in, there was only ONE guy running the place. But aside from being the receptionist, he was also the cook who prepares breakfast for all guests. And he prepares them once he reports for work at 9 AM!! Before that time, there is absolutely no staff in the place so don't look for lunch or dinner...you have to go out and eat elsewhere.Now for the good points. Our bed and pillows were comfy, the water had good pressure and AC had fine temp control. The location was far from the main road was quiet day and night. Continental breakfast was included and adequate but repeats itself every morning. The room had a TV, minibar, in-room safe, iron and board, complimentary water, liquid soap and shampoo, kettle but no free coffee. Our room also came with its own plunge pool and jacuzzi...nice touch, huh? Other bad points: The free wifi is slow and sometimes disappears completely. Don't bother complaining to reception because there's nobody there. Notice in the photo that the shower area has no door or any barrier, so water splashes out on the floor and you're a spectacle to behold by whoever is your roommate. The place would have been a lovely one to stay in but given the significant drawbacks, I'd recommend NOT staying here.

    Amazing hotel with a wonderful staff! Had a great time and it was close enough to the center without the crowds. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special.

    What a fantastic hotel. So beautiful and the views are perfect. The room was cosy and the rooftop pool and sun lounging area was 10/10. The staff are also fantastic and special mention to Fakul and Batsu for keeping our place tidy and also to Anna and Cleopatra who were so helpful with their recommendations and smiles!

    This is the prettiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at! I’ve never been to Greece and the staff was very helpful getting me and my friend situated and used to being in a new country. Friendly staff and beautiful hotel 10/10 all around

    Terrible Honeymoon Experience – Do Not Recommend

    We booked this hotel for our honeymoon, and it was an absolute disappointment from start to finish. The hotel was extremely difficult to find, and there are a lot of uneven steps down a hill that aren’t mentioned anywhere—making it very difficult to carry suitcases.Our room was a nightmare. It had an unpleasant smell, the shower was broken and dirty and barely functioning, and the shutter on the balcony door was also broken. On top of that, our room was not cleaned once during our entire 4-night stay.The pool was also poorly maintained—it was cold, not cleaned, and eventually became filled with insects, making it completely unusable. The hotel website promises welcome drinks and a fruit platter on arrival, but we didn’t receive either. When we raised these concerns, the staff clearly couldn’t have cared less and offered no solutions or support.For the price paid, this stay was unacceptable. We strongly advise against booking this hotel, especially for a special occasion.
