The owner Marios has always welcomed everyone with open arms. Theo was excellent on reception plus cleaning staff worked hard. We’ve stayed here since 2012 & wouldn’t go anywhere else unless fully booked. Highly recommend to people to try here. Only a two minute walk to the beach. We always hire beds at Anna’s for €15 a set with brolly plus toilet, beach bar & shower. Easier to get in the seat this mountain end too.

Absolute gem in Kamari

Absolute gem of a find in Kamari. We have just returned from a week at Studios Mario’s on the stunning island of Santorini. From the second we arrived we were looked after like family. The hotel Manager, Theo is an absolute star and nothing is too much trouble literally. From restaurant recommendations to bringing me an iced coffee to calling and sorting a buggy (at a reduced rate) so we could go out and explore the Island for the day. Absolute diamond guy. The property itself is pristine, cleaned daily and is a 3 minute walk from Kamari beach and all the amenities. It’s a small team at Studios Mario’s but my goodness they never stop. Studios Mario’s is a self catering complex and has more than enough should you wish to cook for yourself, however within 5 minutes you are on the beach front with an abundance of eateries. Not so good bits- it isn’t cheap we paid on average 65€ a night to eat, one evening being 93€. Food was ok, apart from one night, where we ate at Summertime which was amazing. Souvenirs and bits expensive, I wanted to change my suncream but at nearly 40€ a bottle I made do. The beach, while it looks fabulous, is a painful experience to walk on. Volcanic ‘sand’ definitely exfoliates your feet and it isn’t a pleasant experience. Sunbeds on the beach are commonly 15€ each and for the 2 of us at 30€ a day we thought that was too pricey. However, most sunbeds sit infront of various eateries and if you eat at the restaurants you can use the beds for free, which is fair enough. All in all a super holidayWould I go back, absolutely ♥️

Magical experience in an amazing place.Theo is an absolute legend10The warm, homely feel of this hotel is second to none. It's immaculate, cute and has everything you need.I really don't know where to start. Everything here from start to finish was so memorable. The pool and pool bar is cute, relaxing and beautifully Greek.We had a sea view room that was just beautiful.The room had the most comfortable bed everything you needed for a self catering stay. The room itself was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated.The real gem of the is hotel was Theo, the hotel receptionist and now friend. What a guy. He is the most attentive, knowledgeable, genuine and fun guy ever. He made recommendations of where to eat, go etc.... none of which disappointed, he told us about the must see's and overall made us feel so cared for in our time here. I honestly would only ever stay here. Santorini is such a magical place and this guy made it feel that little more magical.Shout out to Mario too. Both guys were the loveliest souls. Can't wait to return ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤍

This is a lovely place to stay. New, clean, friendly, helpful. The pool is small but spotlessly clean ( Slightly salty water, but that's fine). Great location. It's quiet but close to so many restaurants, and the beach is 2 minutes on foot. Check in was simple and efficient. Theo will recommend some trips and restaurants. We didn't follow up on these.Recommend water shoes for the beach. Sun beds nearby are upwards of 10€ each. If you walk along the promenade, some restaurants will allow you to use theirs if you buy drinks.

Loverly place to stay in a great location close to the beach, airport and restaurants. Perfect for what we wanted as we always go self catering. The staff we're always very friendly and couldn't do enough to help and give advice. Rooms also cleaned daily. If we come back to kamari we will definitely stay here again.
