English-speaking staff are happy to assist and advise.     Nice hotel but AC much toooo loud!!!

    It's actually a nice business hotel with friendly staff and well-equipped rooms. The only problem is the very loud air conditioning. The same problem occurs with the heating in winter. I was told years ago when the system would be checked, but nothing has been done!     Clean, friendly, convenient in Rovigo

    Wonderful hotel! Clean, well maintained, excellent amenities and very accommodating staff, especially the barman, Mateo. Many of the staff are English speaking. Highly recommend, would stay here again. High value for the price and very convenient location for walking to town & close to train station.     NO FOOD IN THE ROOM - and Privacy questionable in the bathroom, with window partially frosted.

    You will get a neat a tidy room - but you will get this elsewhere too.The staff were on the slightly rude side of the neutral tone when I was checking-in.And specifically in a very highlighted insistent manner asked me to SIGN for ' NO FOOD IN THE ROOM' unless purchased from the hotel restaurant.For personal reasons I had to cancel my first booking and then re-book within minutes. During check-in I was told (mis-leadingly) there will be a cancellation charge for the first booking, only later to find-out that the CANCELLATION FEE IS 100% of BOOKING FEE - i.e. no re-fund! RIP-OFF!At booking misleadingly it was stated the breakfast is available - that does not mean you won't have to pay for it separately.Bill of 40 Euros in their restaurant, and 10 Euro for breakfast that was not any thing from paradise.Hotel lied to me, saying it's Expedia who is asking them to apply the cancellation charge and then lied to Expedia. I called Expedia 10 days after to discuss refund - who in-turn tried to discuss it with hotel, but they were not having any of it! As a result Expedia had been kind enough to refund me partially.I CANNOT RECOMMEND the hotel due to my experience. There are other options available - hotels where staff are much more polite and welcoming - and they are quite transparent in their communication and always find ways to solve the problems of their guests. With this hotel so long as everything is running smooth according to them, they will be nice to you.The room bathroom was not that great either - Lets leave that for someone else to review. In the reservation that you have done throught Expedia it is also written that cancellation fee is 100%, this is not something that we decide because of you, it is something always written on that website, by Expedia, not by us.When you booked the first time you were already on penalty, so when for your personal reasons, you decided to cancel it, you were aware about cancellation policies, if this situation happen with an airplane’ s ticket, there is no way to have a refund about a late cancellation. Why do you accept it by airplanes companies and not by hotels?It is not a matter of lies, nobody here lied to you, we just applied rules.As you can see reading other reviews we often got very good reviews about the service we provide, about our kindly staff, about our delicious food in our restaurant and It is really a shame that only because of the fee applied, ( that we were on our right to do it), your evaluation had been so low.About privacy in the bathroom we can garantee that windows glass in the bathroom are opaque, every year we have a very strong control from Best Western Quality Service and we got never questionable matters about that.Best regards,Anna Danese/Front Office

    Clean, tidy hotel, friendly staff there to make your stay special. Location close to town centre, and a short walk to the Rovigo Rugby stadium. Two minutes walk from the train station. One of the best restaurants in the town located at the hotel.     Excellent hotel perfectly situated between the station and the centre. Room was very comfortable and reception staff were very helpful. Stayed three nights whilst visiting family in the area. Very good value for money.
