  Great Hotel by Best Western!

  Coinvent location right of the interstate. Nice clean room, large and comfy beds, and big tv screen. Breakfast had a wide variety of foods and large enough not to get crowded. The indoor pool was also great to swim in and was pretty big. Overall one of the best experiences I have had in the area especially for cleanliness.   Good Value Lodging in Odessa!

  I had stayed at the previous hotel in past years and noticed it was not being maintained and was in need of updating. The manager told me there was a major remodel on this property a couple of years ago. It’s definitely improved now compared to before. The lobby is inviting and room was clean. The new breakfast area was also clean and offered a selection of breakfast foods. There is also lots of free parking. I stayed here because I was in the area for a high school reunion.   110 W I-20, Odessa,TXI really don’t like writing bad reviews but this was a very bad experience.The desk person was gone and a non English speaking young friendly girl was trying to take care of us at check in. The actual desk clerk was in the phone to answer any questions. We needed a handicap room with roll in shower. We also have a small 5 pound dog. The FIRST room was not ADA equipped so I went back to the desk. They were hesitant to give us the actual ADA room because we had a dog and the desk clerk didn’t want to get in trouble because it wasn’t a dog friendly room. She decided to give us the room anyway. I went to check the room and found a large stain on the bed cover, there were colored lights above that were flickering, and the ADA shower had no wand and a small round stool, plus the fridge was off and the freezer was full of water! I needed the freezer to keep ice packs frozen for my partners needs. So back to the desk, where I let them know the room was unacceptable due to the issues, I took pictures and showed them. Back to the original room because it was the only room with a step in shower which again is not ADA approved. The shower curtain is moldy. The lamp shade is all dented, only 2 towels. 1 coffee service, the fridge was not even plugged in ( had to move the credenza to plug it it) the fridge has no freezer but hoped it would be cold enough at the top to freeze at least 2 ice packs. There was tabacco shreds all over the nightstand! No lamps on the nightstands because there aren’t any plugs I guess!? Main issues is that this hotel is in dire need of a real deep cleaning and for $117 a night is absolutely disgusting. We couldn’t go to another hotel because BW has a no refund policy & they don’t bend! One good thing is that the the evening desk clerk was very nice, and tried to make up for all of this with more towels and brought us ice plus added 3000 points to our rewards. But a bad experience here really made a sad experience on our trip.   I thought I'd done my homework by reading reviews, but I had a rude awakening to the power of paid reviewers. This place is an absolute dump. Stains on the bedding and walls. Shower curtains supported by zip ties. No breakfast, even though it was advertised. Absolutely abysmal accommodations. To make matters worse, Best Western customer service just made sure I knew that their properties are independently owned/operated. If you're going to put your name on something, I recommend requiring some minimum standards to be met.   Very nice and up to date hotel. This hotel is one of the best hotels in Odessa. With its indoor pool, spacious room, large beds, warm shower, high quality air conditioning, and its affordable rates!!!
