  Basic, probably too basic but Lazaro Cardenas is a very small town and there aren't many options. Probably Baymont is the only reliable at some degree with acceptable standards. Certainly will stay there again since there aren't more to choose.   Small town, Huge heart, Excellent Hotel

  I came to Lazaro Cardenas for a small project and we stayed at the Baymont hotel. Let's begin with the most important part of any hotel, the staff:Everyone in here is very kind and nice, always willing to help and to go the extra step to make your stay flawless.The staff at the restaurant are amazing, each one of the ladies is very nice and accomodating to any request in the restaurant. Paola and Erika are very attentive and the best part is that Erika speaks English therefore there are no mistakes while ordering.At the Front desk, Annel, Ammie, and Antonio are top-notch, always asking how you doing and if you need any additional items to make you stay better.Last but not least, El Senor Miguel Angel, is a real gentleman, super respectful, and very kind and attentive.The food at the restaurant is good, and the hotel has established a good protocol to protect their patrons against the COVID during the buffet hours in the morning.The magnetic key sometimes fails especially if you put it next to the phone, as a reminder, just go by the front desk to get it re-activated again, they are willing to do it with no problemThe room is comfortable and the bed is firm and nice. So no issues there either.The WIFI code changes every Monday, so if you staying several weeks, just ask for a new code every Monday and you are good to go.   Stayed in the Baymont 2 weeks ago. It was clean, quiet and comfortable and the air conditioner worked well. The bed was very comfortable.The only complaint was no fridge..would have been nice to have cold drinks in such a hot climate.

  The best Hotel in town,very good breakfast and the restaurant is also very good and reasonable prices . Rooms clean and tidy . Internet is OK .The bed also comfortable for a good rest after work . I will recommend for others easily.

  Restaurant staff are on another planet

  Stayed here in November and not so bad but this time same staff are on a different planet. Faces like a bull dog chewing a wasp. Two people in the restaurant but difficult to get served, sure they can read minds as they are nowhere around when you need something. Ground floor housekeeping were spot on but any floor above that they must be suffering from altitude or is it attitude sickness. No towels in the room no soap no laundry bag unless you ask at reception. Come on guys get your act together
