  Excellent Hotel, Disappointing Service at the Pool

  We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Punta. The location is excellent, the rooms are clean, the food is very good, and most of the staff were professional and welcoming.Unfortunately, our experience was significantly affected by the attitude of the pool waiter, a bald Greek staff member who also seemed to perform other duties around the pool area.Throughout our stay, every request was met with negativity, unwillingness to help, and a general lack of customer-oriented service. Rather than trying to find solutions, he always seemed focused on explaining why something could not be done. Even more disappointing was his attitude toward children, which often came across as unnecessarily harsh, impatient, and completely lacking in understanding.This is especially unfortunate because the rest of our experience at the hotel was excellent. One employee should not overshadow the hard work of the entire team, yet in our case, this is exactly what happened.We sincerely hope to return to Hotel Punta in the future because we truly enjoyed our stay. However, we also hope that management will address this issue so that other guests do not have a similar experience.

  Amazing hotel and location

  Wow hotel punta was amazing we have had an amazing week. Although hotel punta is not in town we found the location relaxing and perfect. The views were stunning and the hotel provides a free mini bus to town and back. We did get a taxi once and it was very cheap. Also only 12mins from the airport. The hotel beach was beautiful but it is a bit of a trek with lots of stairs. We were half board and the food was lovely with alot of choice. The only slight negative was there was not alot of choice on desert. The hotel was clean and perfect for us. Our room was lovely but a bit more storage would of been good. There was always plenty of loungers by the pool. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We will definitely go back to skiathos and will choose hotel punta again.   Sad to be leaving.

  This is our last day of 10 spent in this wonderful hotel.The hotel is spotless, cleaners do an amazing job. In fact ALL the staff are wonderful. From the 2 on reception, Heleni and Vivienne, who go the extra mile to help you. The barmen are a treat to be with. Zafira is one of the best I’ve come across in all my years of travelling. Dmitri is also very good too. The food is even better this year than last, good wholesome food with plenty of choice. If you want a lovely relaxing holiday I totally recommend this hotel.   Surprise birthday treat

  I booked this holiday as a a surprise for my wife’s 70 birthday and it certainly didn’t disappoint.The Hotel and location are 5 Star .The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and are happy to answer any queries about transport and the many local beaches.Just like to say a big thank you to the reception staff Eleni and Vivian , and also Sofia in the Restaurant.Well went on the Mamma Mia cruise and had a fabulous time.Can’t wait to come back and see you all again .   Take a Punta on this hotel

  This was a last minute holiday, and the Punta made a good base (we like to hire a small car and get out to the beaches around the island). The hotel was very clean and the staff were really good, especially those at the reception. They made us feel really welcome. We stayed on a B&B basis, and it was ok. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast, but some of the 'cooked' items were only just on the right side of warm. We didn't eat at the hotel in the evening, preferring to explore Skiathos town instead. The beds were comfy and we slept well every night. There was some noise from other guests, but that's to be expected in a hotel where noises bounce off the tiles. For the price we paid as a family of four, it wasn't a bad place to stay.
