    Good location but that’s it

    Location was great! Reception staff terrible! Not a greeting, smile or lovely attitude on any of them!! Shower , the worst, too bloody hot and so old it wouldn’t turn down. Shower door, screamed blue murder everytime we opened or closed . Floor boards creaked, pity poor people underneath us. Air con didn’t work, room hit and stuffy with doors closed but air conditioning in outside too noisy to have doors open. Bed comfy but Average hotel at best!

    2 days trip to Thessaloniki and we chose Andromeda for our accommodation. Excellent spot, near to everything, the staff was more than welcoming and helpful and the most important -the cleanliness of the rooms was 10/10. Thanks guys we will get back soon.

    We booked five nights at The Andromeda based on facilities listed here and on their website, which we should have checked prior to booking. The ‘spa’ is no longer in use and it seems it hadn’t been much before it closed. There was no bar, restaurant, or separate seating area. Our small room would have been more bearable had these facilities existed as per the listings. However, the hotel is in an excellent position in the centre, the receptionist was friendly, and they had a lovely, cute ginger cat. The room and hotel itself are somewhat dated and would benefit from a refurb. If you want something reasonably priced without facilities in a central location, then book - if you’re looking for more, don’t.

    Locations of the hotel is good. Management is good. Price is high but it’s a matter of demand and fielder. The rooftop restaurant and cafe is good. Few thing to complain but not that major. Team working there somehow very responsible and takes care to solve any matter.

    The hotel has prime location - few minutes walk to all main attractions, a lot of good restaurants within 3-6 minutes walk.The room was big with a little "strange" design (black walls, a lot of mirrors, black & gold wallpaper).The bathroom has a bathtub instead of a shower - the bathtub was high and very slippery - might be dangerous especially for older quests - better to install a shower instead.Also, there is no breakfast at the hotel, although the hotel sites lists an option of a continental breakfast.The reception team was polite, some of them has poor english.
