Location

The hotel is situated right in the heart of Thessaloniki town centre. Located on the corner of Mitropoleos and Komninon streets, the hotel is just steps away from the commercial Tsimiski Street and the picturesque Aristotelous Square. Thessaloniki Airport is located approximately 20 km from the hotel.

Facility

7 junior suites, 4 suites and 22 double rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. A cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Other services include a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a hotel doctor. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features of the rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) ensure optimal comfort.     A Lovely Few Days in Thessaloniki

    We had a truly wonderful 3 night stay at The Excelsior with a friend. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly easy and enjoyable to explore Thessaloniki on foot.The atmosphere of the hotel felt warm, elegant, and very welcoming from the moment we arrived. What made our stay especially memorable was the kindness and friendliness of the staff.     Central Thessaloniki boutique bolthole.

    An amazing small hotel. Every member of staff is friendly an very helpful. The superior room we had was spotless and large with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was of high quality with a good choice of egg based hot breakfasts and an extensive cold buffet. A special mention to all breakfast staff, attentive without being obtrusive,My wife has limited mobility and there are a few steps into the hotel and to the breakfast room. Bear this in mind if in a wheelchair.     Small luxury hotel with a great location

    Perfect location, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast.Since the room was opposite of 2 bars, there was a very slight background noise for a while but nothing really bothering.The rooms are not extremely big but very cosy.The only minus is the shower - it's almost impossible to make it work.
