    The Cactus Hotel is a vibe. Ice cold beer on tap, a balcony made for pretending you’re in a music video, and a logo so good I’d happily wear it on a T-shirt. Shoutout to the mysterious midnight phantom who politely stops you from belly-flopping into the pool at 3am the true unsung hero. Add in the full-on Club Tropicana energy, and you’ve got yourself a stay that’s equal parts holiday and fever dream.

    A lot of these reviews say the old rooms are terrible. I guess we were fortunate to have received a more modern and updated room, however that still didn’t cut it. We had so many mosquitos in our room I was chewed up for their dinner every night. Staff said they sprayed every few days, but ask for more than that if you can. Walls were full of dead mosquitos and people’s shoe prints from killing them. Shower & sinks were dirty. The towels weren’t quality standard, and blankets had stains. I’d say breakfast was the best part and I didn’t find staff that friendly or helpful. Lots of people sitting around the pool, so it must have been good, but please people, go out and see Zakynthos for its natural beauty. There is so much to see on the island.

    Really nice hotel, cleaners came everyday, had a nice pool and happy hour had cheap drinks. Security came round at about 11/12 telling us to be quiet which was fine. Rooms were clean. Was a three minute walk from the strip and a 5 minute walk from the beach. Would definitely recommend

    This hotel was perfect for our holiday in Zakynthos:- close to the beach, 3 minutes walking that is a big advantage- rooms cleaned every day- a diverse breakfast, tasty- clean pool, sunbeds and towels provided- the staff is amazing, locals that can introduce and explain where to go and what are the highlights of the island, Rafael 👏👏- private parking- close to ATV, moto or boar renting- close to the main street for evening walk and restaurantsOn short the best choice in Laganas and in island in general.

    Staff was amazing, fulfilled all wishes. Received a map which was full of awesome recommendations! Breakfast was very good. They were able to provide gluten-free options as well! Pool never too crowded, comfortable sunbeds. Location very good. Close to the strip and beach, but in calmer street. Fitness room well equipped. Beds were very comfy, balcony was spacious, very good aircon, hangers for clothes, easy to use safe deposit box.Breakfast delicious, some elements varying daily, gluten-free and lactose-free options available. Staff was very kind and helpful with me having food restrictions.No English boy gangs here, mainly couples, few families, so it was calm.
