    Used condom on the floor

    You read the title right. I mentioned it to them that there was no toilet paper in my room but instead there was a used condom on the toilet roll holder - they laughed and ignored me… i would have just put it in the bin and not mentioned it but there was toilet paper to pick t up and no bin - I came back 8 hours later and the staff were very hostile to me and literally bragged and boasted ‘oh we did room service’ like said it 5 times - I walked in and the condom is still there - then someone came into my room saying u are welcome I washed ur floor - I had been in that hotel approx 30 minutes before leaving to go seeing the sights - I said to him honestly the only thing I wish was cleaned was the condom - because I had told them about it - the man then gets a brush and wipes it across the bathroom floor, living room then out the door…. And says ‘problem solved’ with the worst attitude ever - as if I was being out of order… also the woman at reception is horrible. I didn’t even get annoyed that there was a condom on the floor I mean everyone misses things now and then it was actually the staff that annoyed me most acting incredibly rude to me thru out my stay - also laughed at me after asking : so do you not speak Hindi and me apologising and saying no…DO NOT EVER VISIT THIS PLACE

    My first night in delhi I stayed there for 1 night prior to my flight to kashmir and I was amazed with the room size. its big and everything is good for my standard, especially with the price I pay. I booked through booking.com and of course they have more expensive rates for walk in guess. I spent another 4 night at Aamara after returning from Kashmir, and yes its still good. They put me in the new renovated rooms on the top floor. Breakfast was OK. The people there were so polite and helpful. If they dont give you the amenieties (soap and shampo) just asked. Btw, please do check with the hotel if you booked via agoda because there were a case that the booking was not existed. Its a great place consider the rates. I did stay in another hotel nearby with higher rate and it was bad. So Aamara would be my first choice whenever I visit India and I have no hesitate to recommend this hotel to my fellow backpackers.

    Terrible experience in hotel aamara. Dirty in fact worst linens. Toilet were uncleaned. Nonsense staffs. I was there in room number 301 after complaining they changed my room to 310 but there too the experience was same. Disgusting hotel and the worst hotel ever visited by me

    We stayed at the hotel having booked through Booking.com. Fortunately we had our confirmation printed as they did not have a booking on their side. So a very nice manager got involved and we got our room (that’s where the nice bit stops). The room itself is ok but it’s so dirty it’s a joke. Even the sheets had not been changed. So we managed to get clean pillow cases and clean towels but gave up about the change of sheets. It could be absolutely great, easy access to metro station and airport, fairly quiet street. However the staff partied all night, doors banging, people running up and down. It stopped around 4:30am to 5:30am. Breakfast is also something they reluctantly do even though it’s included. We were told 7:30 so we were there then but they’d only just started thinking about it. So we just asked for instant coffee and a couple of pieces of toast. Well, we had to ask for a manager to come round to get them to do anything. We were getting stressed as we had to check out to go to the airport. We should have skipped the breakfast (tables broken, dirt everywhere, the room looks like it had been abandoned a while ago). I am surprised Oyo don’t do random checks. They’d be shocked and would want to take their name off I would imagine. Enjoy the photos... everywhere else we staid in India has been great (including many cheap places) such a shame about this one.

    Pathetic Experience, Never had before

    Pathetic experience with the hotel, never had before. Early check-in request was made well in advance but hotel was not informed about the same. Had to wait for 2 hours in the lobby to get check-in early in the morning. Hotel staff Mr. Manoj did not had hospitality ethics, how to behave with the guest. Electricity was down only of my room twice after my check-in. Could not able to sleep properly. Goibibo executive committed me that he will call me back while check-in but did not received a call back from him, I had to call **** to resolve my issue.Hotel staff was asking for more money, where he was supposed to collect only 30% of the booking value.I asked for a meeting with Hotel owner, as he was in the property by noon. He neither met me nor had a courtesy to call me and understand the issues faced.
