Location

This hotel is located directly beside a private beach. Panaji is located within 10 minutes and the popular tourist areas of old Goa are about 20 minutes away from the hotel. The airport is around a 40-minute drive from the hotel. The surrounding area also features beautiful white beaches as well as green palms and greenery, guaranteeing a luxurious stay for guests.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 210 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Rooms

Rooms feature a living room and a bathroom. Air conditioning ensures comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. A trouser press is provided for guests' convenience. A television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Sport

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Full board can be booked. A delicious breakfast gives guests plenty of energy for the day. At lunch and dinner, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals. In addition, picnics and snacks are available.

    We had stayed at Taj Cidade de Goa for a family get together to celebrate the 90th birthday of my father. It was a wonderful stay, made special by the extraordinary care the hotel staff provided us. The musical surprise, cake and decorations arranged meticulously by Nikita Fernandes and Chotu brought a huge smile to my father’s face and created memories of a lifetime.Thank you so much

    This was m 3rd stay here and I will start with positives . Muskan assisted us really nicely since even before the trip started . She has become like a family member in Goa. Full marks to her.Chef Raghu, chef Avinash and one more elderly chef all were really good especially Chef raghu . Now the issues i faced, i have faced issues earlier as well but when I used to complain they used to resolve the issues in an instant but this time it didn't happen . My family on arrival was not given welcome drinks and that seashells mala when all other guests were welcomed with it. I complained to muskan regarding it and she rectified it so full marks to her. But should not the whole staff be trained to not be so careless?I had all my meals booked in hotel , since my first meal there was mosquito and fly issue in restaurant, it felt disgusting eating food with constant flies and mosquitoes on them. I complained like several times to everyone at restaurant but this issue didn't solve till last . There was a lot of chaos at the restaurant and the staff looked overburdened.They have also decreased the number of dishes in buffet . Housekeeping service has also significantly degraded . Again the housekeeping staff looked overworked. There were mosquitos in my room, anything related to housekeeping was only done after 3-4 calls. There was a lot of renovation work going on in lobby which was unpleasant with all the workers and debris blocking the lobby. I am a taj loyalist and it's painful to see taj becoming an average brand.

    A decent stay at the Heritage

    Overall, a decent stay, quite didn’t meet the Taj level service that I usually expect. I stayed in Heritage, I had paid for a sea-view room, the view was only partially visible. If a sea view is important to you, try requesting a higher floor, as they offer better views. I faced some issues with the AC, and it took multiple reminders before it was resolved.On the positive side, their private beach access was definitely the highlight of the stay. The breakfast spread was extensive and great! Lots of activities for kids. Guests staying in the Heritage section also get access to the amenities at Horizon. The kids' play area at Horizon is particularly nice, with opportunities for children to interact with and pet animals.     Our stay at Taj Cidade De Goa Heritage was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Special appreciation goes to Kaymond, Rajaram, and Samreedhi for their exceptionally warm and gracious hospitality that made every moment feel truly special.
