    Lost it’s former grandeur. Just ok now

    Once a gorgeous contemporary villa complex with cutting edge design, it has fallen into the category of basic facilities, passable maintenance, familiar boring breakfasts and random staff attendance when you need them. Then ofcourse they are around too much when you really don’t. Very friendly and obliging staff mostly spend time in their phones or hunting you down for when you want breakfast. The 5 star element barely passes for a 3 and the place could do with an overhaul and creative eye to take charge of the water damage. Clearly it’s position gets it through which is second to none. Apart from this unchanged element, Ahimsa resembles very little of its former glory.

    When you want to be wined, dined and entertained, the best place to use as a base is The Ahimsa Estate. Should you decide to hole up in the lap of luxury there's no need to venture outside your villa's door because it's all there for you. One of our delights is to watch the friendly staff prepare the morning's breakfast. To wake to the aroma of sizzling Nasi-Goreng and freshly sliced fruit is not to be missed. There's a lot of reasons why I'm a regular and our three night stay wasn't nearly enough but we will be back, hopefully sooner rather than later.

    The people that works here is wonderful. There is only one thing missing. A buffet or restaurant to have different breakfast or dinner and not in your own villa. Before coming here we thought it was like a resort but it is not, although is a good place to stay in the crowdy and busy Seminyak.     From the moment we arrived the staff were superb, the villa is stunning could do with a few more cooking untensils as a family but im nit picking there.     Beautiful oasis in central Seminyak

    Stayed here with our 3 teenage children. Perfect location as few mins to beach and shops/restaurants so we were all able to go out independently. Rooms spacious, clean and well equipped. Breakfast cooked each morning in our villa was a real treat and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Lovely to sit by our private pool listening to the birds at the end of a busy day out.
