This resort is located in Kerobokan, right on the beach.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the resort include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (no extra charge). Rooms

    Do not come to Bale Gede

    We paid for one month and were promised a newly renovated Villa. We got out in a very dilapidated one in need of work asap. We had multiple problems straight away. Electrical explosions, no hot water for two days, power tripping and no air conditioning. Then the pool gave chemical burns to my middle son for being so acidic. It bleached his cotton boxers from black to red. The owners sent a doctor and nurse to look over but they were very obviously on the agenda to limit the hotel liability and to get me to sign documents that obsolescence them from any wrong doing. Luckily the on site manager manager managed to get us a 50% refund but it still cost us 3X the rate for the 6 nights we were there. It is a shame. Bale Gede has taken an unfortunate dive in the last 8 months since we last visited. They are are not luxury. Not safe and should not be operating.

    Huge Villa

    Wow, what a great place to stay. 3 bedrooms, all with ensuites in this huge 3 storey villa with it's own pool.These villas are massive with very large rooms and 2 lounge rooms. The pool is fantastic too.Staff here are just great. We were particularly well looked after by Chilly who was very helpful but all the staff were happy and friendly.Only negative is that there is a wedding venue across the road and if it goes late it is very noisy.Easy walk to the beach and many shops and beach bars.Highly recommend this place.

    Absolutely a joke, the entire villa is huge and spacious, unfortunately there is just one smallest air condition size only in the bed room. It’s extremely hot inside the villa. I totally don’t get it you can invest to something like pool, furniture and others but you can’t invest to the cooling system which is the most importance in a tropical country. Staff mentioned to us, if you’re getting too hot just open the door and let the fresh air come in, common girl you grew up there and been there for your entire life. How can we open the door and let the bug and ….. come through, it doesn’t make sense for us.On the bed, there is heaps of bugs and ants, we got bitten by them a couple times during a nightBathroom is incredible in a poor condition, we can’t leave our cloths inside the walk-in wardrobe which is next to the bathroom coz the badly smell from sewage come though from the opening bathroom wall as well as mouldy smell. Nearly choking many times. The bathroom on advertising photo with booking.com is totally difference from the property as presented. Shower head is poor condition it need to be replaced, the floor is not far off either, all the water is not go through the drain properly it can cause damage to wardrobe furniture. This is why mouldy smell coming from. The toilet seat can’t keep still, they weren’t mounted it properly.Kitchen bench top is completely disgusting, there is heaps of a mark leftover on the surface, also inside the kitchen draw. There is rubbish in there, room service left the straw inside used bag, then he tried to make an excuse by saying I left in there for purpose. I can make it better by tomorrow.Everything as we explained, it’s all true story, it’s very bad experience for us. We never ever come back here again. Highly disappointed and not recommended. We’re not feel safe to be there at all, the only thing that we can do is just packed up and asking for the refund. This place is completely ruined our Bali trip.

    In need of maintenance

    We were provided with this option from our booking agent in Bali as we needed to move. On arrival, we were met with pleasant and accommodating staff. On the surface, the villa seemed fine, but once we settled in the problems arose. On the second floor living area, there was bird poo all over the tiles. There are birds nesting in the roof space above the second floor. For a 3 bedroom villa sleeping 6 people, there was only 2 outdoor lounges provided near the pool - no other furniture outside. The steps into the pool were hazardous - very deep first step down. Inside furniture had cigarette burns and stains on the lounges. To top it off, there were mice droppings in the kitchen. These villas are in desperate need of refurbishment and maintenance. We left after 1 night - the villas were in a disgraceful state for a supposedly “luxury villa”.

    Stayed at Bali Gede Villa 4 on our last day in Bali - thank God we booked just for one night and no longer than that!!! Looks nice from the outside but upon entering you could see there a lot of maintenance required for the villa. It was spacious, and we arrived around sundown from Ubud and wanted a nice swim at by the pool - only that the pool was poorly lit. Out of all the lights only one actually worked, we tried turning on the fan and more lights but the switches were broken...great. No night swims and the pool smells like chlorine.Not just that our Dorito snacks got bitten by rat in the middle of the night, it was left on the counter but suspiciously “moved” towards the stove with visible bite marks on the cover. DO NOT LEAVE FOOD OUT because the next day during breakfast we saw a rat climbing up the walls to the second floor from the kitchen. Told the staff we saw rats and the reaction were meh. Not helpful at all. Glad to leave immediately the next day, will not return, there are plenty of nicer villas in Bali for a fraction of the price! Sure it was spacious and great for families but they really need to look through maintenance of the villa. Shame because it looks so nice from the outside 😑
