  Terrible construction jack hammering ruined my stay ! They refused to refund my money !

  Disgusting experience at Darma in Oct. 2019. I was never made aware prior to my arrival of the Loud , jack harming that made my Villa unenjoyable. They offered to move me to a different Villa , but advised construction could still be heard . What’s the point in moving ? Very disappointed to finish my vacation with sub par accommodations. Lastly, I found a dirty cotton swab in the toothbrush box in the bath room . It’s unfortunate that I’m not able to upload the video here. Avoid this place is my suggestion....

  Spacious and prime location

  We stayed in villa 2A for 6 days over Christmas and it was such a nice experience.The villa itself is very large, with the two bedrooms on opposite sides of the property, each with their own bathroom, so there is a lot of privacy. The bedrooms are separated by a large open air kitchen & living area, which we utilised often. There are enough pots & pans to make simple meals, plenty of cutlery and plates/glasses, full sized fridge, blender etc. The living area was bright, yet remained shady, with a ceiling fan to help keep flying bugs away, but we didn’t have any issues with insects. The best part of the kitchen was the drinking water dispenser - so much better than being given plastic bottles, I wish all villas had this. Having a pool was our favourite part of our stay. It was decent size, about 6x2 metres and 5ft at the deep end. It was a nice, cool temperature, perfect for swimming in the day or night and was very welcome after a day in the humidity. There was also a powerful and refreshing waterfall shower in the garden.We stayed in the main bedroom (it was just the two of us), good air conditioning, nice bathroom fittings and fluffy towels. Location is perfect, less than 10 minute walk to Petitenget beach, lots of vegan food options everywhere (4 minute walk to Kynd and 8 minutes walk to Clean Canteen and good vegan options at Ling Ling’s). Jiwa yoga studio 3 minutes away and Re Spa is pretty much across the road. We didn’t have to walk too far to get anywhere, which was great because traffic in the evening was very heavy over Christmas/ New Year. My advice would be to walk 5 minutes up to the Cnr of Jl Petitenget & Jl cendrawasih to save yourself 20 minutes of sitting in a taxi if you’re heading North towards Canggu in evening traffic.Overall we had a great stay and would come back to this villa again and I would highly recommend this villa.Lisa, the villa manager, was also very friendly, chatty and helpful.

  Dirty and hot!

  The pool was dirty with bugs, the sheets and pillows on the bed were dirty with purple and blood stains. My partner and I would wake up very itchy in the middle of the night from the bed. The door to the balcony would not properly shut so the gap in the door resulted in bad air-conditioning and suffering in the heat. Would not have paid so much money to stay in a villa with dirty and poor facilities.

  Amazing clean villa to stay in seminyak, very close to all the main bars and restaurants. Very friendly staff too! Filtered water available, mosquito net and rooms are cleaned everyday. They had construction work going during the day when I wasn’t home anyway and they felt bad so they wanted to give me free meals, such kind hearted souls. Thank you 😊

  Great clean villas!

  My husband, myself and my brother stayed here in October 2018 and loved it! The villas are clean, huge and the private pool is the best with the lovely lanterns around it. The staff are super friendly and keep the grounds and villas immaculate. :) they are located down a side road that I felt safe walking down even at night. They are in walking distance to Biku and Gardin Restaurant and even the seminyak square. Only negative if I had to think of one was my safe was broken but I just used my brothers and the TV didn't work when we arrived but the staff quickly fixed this.I would recommend this place and hope to stay in august this year. :)
