    Room was okay. No fridge in the room which doesn’t help when travelling with medication. Only coffee was a pre mix sweet coffee that was only refilled once during our two night stay. The rooms are horribly hot and the air conditioning doesn’t work - allows you to set a temperature but is overridden by a hotel master. At breakfast the Bain Marie’s are never turned on so any hot dish is served cold - someone is going to get sick over this.     Thx for warmest hospitality from Maggie & all stuffs , it makes Holiday Inn West as my second home in Shanghai. Maggie's a good listener and be always  patient for all kinds questions & support in every moment.A little bit trendy decoration in the lobby & elegant interior after the renovation from few years ago make the stay cozy as a vacation.The location of the hotel is excellent,  convenient living with good amenities. One more thing , the food in lounge during happy hour exceeds my expectation. However not various kinds dishes in the options, some of them are yummy & authentic if you're the fans in Chinese food.Just can't wait for the next stay in Holiday Inn West again.     Hotel was great, buffet breakfast was delicious with so many options. Maggie, the reception manager was the highlight. Went above and beyond to help my best friend and I organise transport and food orders when we got back after everything closed. She knew we were travelling alone so made sure to make sure we were safe in our journeys. Maggie is the MVP.
