    Changed for the worse!

    We came back here after our first stay five years ago, and the pool and garden were as beautiful as we remember them. There have been a few changes since last time and unfortunately none of them positive! Breakfast I’m afraid was very rarely good and the rooms are in dire need of a refreshment! That said, the staff were excellent, warm & friendly and work very hard. For the price and location, it still scores points, but I cannot pretend we were disappointed this time round, just a 7/10 from us!     Another perfect stay

    I regularly stay here throughout the year, and the excitement never fades each time my taxi pulls up, heralding another stress-free vacation. The hotel, now a decade old, has been superbly maintained by the staff. The most recent notable update is the revamped menu; the breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings have been refreshed, with the new and revised items proving to be delicious hits. The welcoming staff and tranquillity are what draw me back for approximately two months every year.Hello to all the staff - thanks for looking after me.To everybody else - dont hesitate, just book it - Kubu Cempaka ticks all the boxes.Tip: book from their own website - it works well and the hotel avoids paying commissions to those greedy 3rd party booking businesses.     This place is a quiet little piece of heaven. We had the largest room in the hotel and it was so peaceful and beautiful looking out to the pool and the gardens. We ate there several times for lunch and were happy. Breakfast was a help yourself to tea/coffee and to choose from the menu with a meal and a juice. The location was perfect, just far enough away from the beach and the shops which meant you could relax in peace and quiet. I really loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.     We felt very welcome at Kubu Cempaka when we arrived in the evening. The room was opposite the breakfast terrace and was as expected (the only negative thing was the mildew or even mold next to the air conditioning).They organized a shuttle for us in advance that was waiting at the airport; it worked absolutely safely and well.In the morning, breakfast options awaited us, from pancakes and French toast to mie noodles and avocado toast, eggs or bowls. Everyone helped themselves to coffee or tea and a freshly squeezed juice of their choice. A perfect start.The pool was nice, the surroundings in a quiet side street were absolutely worth their weight in gold and the walk to the beach was 15-20 minutes. Maintenance and restaurant within walking distance.The staff was always very attentive and friendly. There was a small misunderstanding due to an extension and payment, which they took care of immediately before I noticed. Great people. So highly recommended.     Really nice staff, comfortable and clean rooms

    We already have been at Kubu Cempaka in our last holiday and chose to book it again for 3 weeks. The rooms are big, clean and the bed is comfortable! The staff always refills everything (Soap, Toilet Paper, Water) and is always helpful! The breakfast is very tasty! Special thanks to Ayu, Kade, Wayan and the rest of the team! They always made us enjoy our stay! All the guys are so friendly and helpful! The pool is clean and nice for swimming! We can fully recommend this place!
