Location

The club resort is located in the Legian area, just 10 minutes' walk from the beach. Ngurah Rai International Airport is located some 15 km from the resort.

Facility

The hotel has a reception desk and features 83 rooms. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket.     I first stayed here 15 years ago and decided to go back for another look. I think the hotel has got smaller, there appear to be less rooms than before. It's a little dated but it's clean and comfortable. I love the direct pool access from your deck which makes it perfect for solo travel. You don't have to 'go' to the pool.The only downside is the lack of power points in the rooms. None by the bed and only one available by the desk. Only just enough for a solo traveller, not sure what a couple would do. They provide pool towels and two small bottles of drinking water per day. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

    My engagement ring disappeared from my suitcase in the locked room

    During my stay, my engagement ring went missing from inside my suitcase, which was kept inside a locked private hotel room.While we were out, the only person who accessed the room was a housekeeping staff member, who was working alone (not in a buddy system). CCTV footage and key card access logs confirm that no other access occurred during our absence.On the day of the incident, I returned to the room specifically because my friend pointed out that I had forgotten to put my rings away and had left them on the counter. CCTV footage captures me returning to the room for the sole purpose of putting the rings away. For this reason, there is no possibility of misplacement or memory error.I personally placed both my engagement ring and wedding ring together into the same suitcase at the same time. When I later attempted to retrieve them, only the wedding ring remained and the engagement ring was missing, which further confirms that this was not a personal mistake or oversight.After reporting the incident, a housekeeping staff member entered our room again during our absence, without asking for our consent, apparently on their own initiative, under the pretext of “helping to search,” despite the fact that we did not request this.We did not expect anyone to enter the room at night, as regular housekeeping services were not operating, so we left our suitcase opened. When we returned, we found out our belongings moved around. The receptionist was initially unaware that anyone had entered the room, and we later learned that the housekeeping staff member had entered the room at their own discretion. This was extremely uncomfortable and distressing.The manager was polite and responsive by email; however, the hotel ultimately refused any compensation, stating that CCTV footage, key card access records, situational evidence, a police report, and the fact that my ring disappeared from my suitcase were “insufficient.”The hotel demanded a formal police conclusion confirming that the theft occurred inside the room.However, this is practically impossible:– I had already checked out and returned home,– the room had been cleaned, and– other guests had stayed in the room afterward.Expecting police to prove a theft inside a specific hotel room under these circumstances is unrealistic and unreasonable.What is particularly concerning is that all evidence provided by the guest was rejected, while a written statement from the housekeeping staff member was accepted as evidence of innocence.Under this logic, it would be nearly impossible for any guest to successfully report theft, regardless of circumstances. This creates a serious lack of accountability.I strongly advise future guests not to bring valuables and to be aware that the hotel does not take responsibility even when incidents occur inside a locked room with staff-only access.I would also like to emphasize that this was an engagement ring, not merely a valuable item.Its sentimental value is irreplaceable, and the loss goes far beyond financial cost.The fact that such a meaningful and personal item disappeared under these circumstances, and that the hotel refuses to take responsibility, makes this experience especially heartbreaking.This was an extremely distressing experience and has permanently damaged my trust in this property.

    We chose this place mid holiday as we were not happy with our original hotel. We were so glad , the location was spot on . While just off the main road it was quiet . The rooms were very clean and the pool refreshing . The staff were excellent . Bar prices very good. Breakfast vouchers are offered at restaurant just outside of the reception area. Excellent offer and quality . Great value for money , only issue was the wifi dropping in and out and having to sign in repeatedly .

    We had a terrible experience at this hotel, upon check in we were overcharged by several hundred $ (AUD) this was no major issue. However instead of refunding the difference they voided the initial transaction. This again was not a major issue until they started hounding us to pay for the hotel again!This was without us having yet received the initial refund, to ensure that we were not kicked out of the hotel we then had to pay for our room again, this was not an insignificant amount of money. This meant that we had no money remaining for the rest of our trip. While all of this was going on the manager at the hotel we exceptionally unhelpful on several occasions she openly tried to brush off our complaints. At no point were we aggressive nor did we raise our voices however the manager completely disregarded us.We loved our time in Bali but our honeymoon was tarnished by this hotel. We will not be returning and we encourage other travellers to consider booking elsewhere. While we fully understand how frustrating this was for you, we must clarify that the hotel never received any money from the voided charge, and the delay was entirely on the bank's side.To assist, we issued an official letter confirming the voided transaction, which you could forward to your bank to help speed up the process. We also provided you with several days of grace period to allow time for the refund to appear and to ease the stress of the situation. During this time, our team communicated respectfully and made no demands for immediate payment.Your outstanding balance was settled on 23 July, and to help alleviate the impact on your experience, we offered you a complimentary day-use stay on your departure day as a gesture of goodwill.While we deeply regret that this disrupted your honeymoon, we stand by our team's response and professionalism. The issue was caused by a genuine mistake, followed by a bank-related delay beyond our control.     Pool and location great, Friendly staff.Add breakfast with accommodation, only negative is lack of choice with breakfast menu and a few items are have crossed off.No omelette, no bacon with big breakfast, no pastries, no juices.Better to eat out on street restaurants, plenty to choose from.We had a villa in seminak with breakfast and was fantastic.
