    Mandela Desa is the perfect place to escape the pressures and worries. The Villa is so beautiful- lush gardens fish pond view of the rice fields the volcano and the sunrise. I loved the outdoor bathtub and shower. It's connected to your own private Terrace with lounge area to enjoy the view. The pool is the perfect temperature sounded by surrounded by beautiful gardens and spots to relax. I was pampered by the wonderful breakfast, afternoon tea and great restaurant right on the premises. I found myself taking deep breaths and just letting the stress fall from me. I had a lovely massage in my room. I recommend it to anyone who needs to get away restore refresh and get pampered.

    Breathtaking view, fabulous service, peaceful atmosphere and totally convenient location for any of the major attractions such as zoo and bird and reptile park. The staff were so attentive and at the same time you didn’t even know they were near by. The food was delicious and authentic. The pool is large and the villas are wonderful.

    A great place to book without hesitation if you want authenticity and to escape. Here are my pros and cons.+ excellent breakfast & food+ excellent accommodation (try the villa's :-)+ overlooking rice fields+ quiet, traditional village+ super friendly & efficient staff + always ready to assist+ feel at home- far away from restaurants

    There aren't enough good things I can say about time at Mandala Desa. From the moment I first contacted them to book, to arriving to such beautiful accommodation in the most beautiful setting surrounded by local villages and rice fields, to the amazing food, the peace & tranquility, the incredible staff who are so friendly and take such beautiful care of their guests, to using the onside bikes and getting advice re day trips etc and booking via them too. Ubud is only a short Grab Taxi ride away. Simply exquisite 5 days at Mandala Desa. Thank you so much to Jan and all his incredible team. We loved staying with you. (My friend stayed in one of the beautiful Villas and I had the beautiful poolside room). Babs 😊😊
