Great value for money - good accommodation in lovely grounds

    rating27 Jun 2023

This resort is at the top of a hill between Song Lambung Beach (which can be reached by a steep but manageable track and steps) and Lembongan village centre (reachable by other steep steps, or by walking to the beach and then along the promenade). The Rocky ferry transport (and maybe others - not sure) drops off and picks up right outside it. Most people will be fine but probably not for anyone with mobility issues, or dislikes exertion in tropical heat. It Is reachable by taxi - which will be very basic - but not sure how reliable or costly this is. It is directly opposite the top entrance/exit of the luxury Batu Karang Resort, where our son, wife and granddaughter were staying. We had one night there but preceded it with two nights in Padma to save money as it was about 20% of the cost - and, we were surprised to find, more enjoyable. The Padma accommodation is in single story semi-villas and fairly spacious. Simply furnished but clean and with air good air con and shower. Comfortable bed with a mosquito net around it - not many insects when we were there at the start of the dry season but we did get bitten in the luxury resort, whose (modern) shower and toilets were in the open air! Lovely grounds with a nice deck outside the unit to enjoy them. Didn’t use the smallish pool but it looked fine for a cooling plunge. Resort was very quiet but that may be related to only partial occupancy. Only criticisms were that lighting is a bit dim and that the charming staff disappear in the late afternoon, leaving the resort unattended - though an emergency contact no is provided. (Tip - if no one around the Wi-Fi code is in small print with other info on a small sign at the front desk).

    UNSAFE RESORT & APPALLING STAFF.

    rating04 Sept 2022

The balcony door of room 112 and the bathroom's window were UNABLE  to be LOCKED as the key for the balcony door was not provided. When I asked the staff who claimed to be the manager for the key and to fix the window, he said the room has no balcony's key; even though all of my friends' rooms had their keys . He did NOT apologize or offer to change the room. I asked him "Who will be responsible for my safety as the door cannot be locked? What if someone entered my room, robbed or hurt me? What if someone stole my belongings? He did NOT care or had any concerns of my safety at all. The staff's attitude towards the problem was unhelpful and even rude & argumentative. He said that we booked the room at a low price and just had to accept the room as is. The problem was not rectified, and I had to sleep in my friend's room, and left the room empty. The staff should NOT work in the hospitality at all as his unwillingness to help, his demeaning and condescending manners were appalling. I urge the upper management and the owner to investigate this problem and the staff promptly; the reputation of your hotel depends on it.

    Great stay.

    rating13 Aug 2022

I highly recommend this place. The location is only a 5 minute walk down the hill to coconut beach, and there’s also a shortcut down a staircase to access the main beachfront near The Deck. The hotel itself was clean and had everything you need. Aircon worked a treat (which you need as Bali is so hot)! We got breakfast included which was also very nice. A lovely simple breakfast with toast, eggs and fruit was made by the team every morning. The best thing about this stay was the staff. Second to none. It felt like we were guests at their own home as the owner was constantly looking after us and going out of his way to help us with anything we needed. Super friendly and welcoming, we would definitely come back!

    Great accomodation!

Stayed at Padma Kumala for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it! Good location on the cliff with many excellent restaurants nearby. Breakfast and coffee at the resort is quite nice! All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and always happy to help out with speaking Indonesian/Balinese!Whilst I do not have kids myself, young kids of families staying during the same time had great fun hanging out with staff and swimming in the pool.Rooms are great with lots of space, mini fridge, and air conditioning that works a treat - similar to being home in Tassie!Would definitely stay there again if I were to head back to Nusa Lembongan!

    Brilliant stay!

    rating23 May 2019

We booked to stay three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and it included a mini fridge and a tv which was perfect for us. The pool area is great (except for the ants but I’m not complaining), the view was pretty amazing too! The staff that work here go above and beyond for you and will take you anywhere you want to go on the island for free on their shuttle or motorbike. We traveled to dream beach and spent the day there, watched the sunset and met them just after six to go back. The hill down to the main area is abit steep, so be prepared to walk up the hill if you want to go to the shop or some restaurants. You can always grab one of the local taxis if needs be. id recommend this place to anyone as the price was amazing for what we received!
