    I can only recommend this beautiful oasis of friendliness, purity,calm and zen. I came many years ago with my daughter the first times, and since on my own- this time with a broken ankle. The lovely staff made it possible for me to relax,as U couldn't walk properly the first week. I absolutely love this place- even with all the mayhem going on in Ubud, this place offers tranquility. The best massage you will find in Ubud is right here at the resort. She is called Ambar and is truly amazing, For all these years she has made a huge difference in our stay. ( Please dont be tight with your money,give a proper tip- she absolutely deserves it!)The owners and every employee are extraordinary.As a footnote,I must mention my love for every living creature, that goes with,sweet gekkos,lizards, butterflies and birds and in February march the lovely frogs. I will rather have a few ants in my bathroom and the cutest gekko- than , because they are a proof of no poison being used. And in Balid in Greece,lizards and gekkos are spirits for Luck and happiness in the house.So, if you are searching for a beautiful,serene,clean,kind place to stay in Ubud- youve found it.

    5 star stay at this gorgeous family run retreat. Our room was lovely with a large bathroom. Our verandah overlooks the top swimming pool. The staff were kind and lovely. Quiet peaceful and green, a 5 minute walk to all the action of the main street and a walk up the street and around leads to the rice fields, more stays, ducklings, small cafes etc. Lovely. Simple breakfast served to your villa. Great location. Highly recommended!

    We checked in and then had to leave. At first was excited about the location... but the deleux room was outdated, there was no tv in the room. Terrible for small children as there was many small old wooden tables that could be knocked over in a small room. The windows push out from the bottom and couldn't lock. The balcony door didn't lock. It was four flights of stairs up. The wardrobe smelt like a retirement home which made the towels smell bad. The AC didn't really cool the room. The shower and bathroom was absolutely awesome but we decided we couldn't stay due to the safety issues with our 1 year old. This turned out to be a very good decision.For the same price down the road we have a modern 1 bed room apartment with breakfast included, so the price for sure is not warranted. Cancelling was simple through booking.com was only charged for the first night.

    Location good and service also but the rooms are outdated and the shower is really strang. Not many power plugs. The way to this hotel is very small and difficult to enter. A facelift woud uplift this place to a good value for money between other rerestd

    Relaxing. Met a lot of Australian and Korean people here who were nice. It’s a bit further and more secluded but felt like amenities maybe a little better for price. Great pull and drinks. Tried the Mexican to Bali at the pool bar. We visited the major attractions on way out by renting a driver. Agus showed us how to do archery and Teja took us biking to a local rice paddy farm that was super cool. We also did aerial yoga and the instructor was really nice and patient. I got dizzy from some of the bridge type yoga moves. He was able to help this old man in his 40’s do sort of like an inverted gynmastics cross move. Cool
