  Place to stay if planning to climb Mt Batur volcano

  Stayed in the capsule bungalows, did its job for 3 nights after roaming out and about exploring Ubud. Handy place to stay if planning to climb Mt Batur because the company is based in hostel where as other places have to wake up earlier. Breakfast was a simple banana pancake and coffee/tea.Location is handy with ATMs, scooter rentals and warungs nearby

  Very disappointed by my stay

  I was disappointed by my stay in Puji Bungalow. The rooms were not clean. There were a lot of ants, especially in the bathroom. At night time there was a very loud noise on the roof of our room which I presume was some sort of animal. The tours were badly organised. We were told we had to be up at 2:00am to do the Mt Batur treck. However the bus did not leave until 2:45 which caused us to nearly miss sunrise.

  Unfortunately I was less than impressed with my stay at Puji-Hostel. First of all I paid for a tour through the hostel, only for something weird to happen when I put my bank card in the machine. It did not give me a receipt and the guy behind the desk made me send him my bank statement to prove the money was gone from my account. My bank later on discover suspicious activity on my account and deactivated my card as it appeared to be duplicated and somebody kept trying to take out money in different places. Rooms were filthy also, covered in ants.Door to room didn’t close fully and so had to be left open all night (fine if you don’t mind geckos running around your room)I most certainly do not recommend this place.

  It will be grateful if you need a place to sleep and talk overnight with travelers. The 1st night we came to Ubud and checked in @02:00AM but it was really bustle inside the hostel. I am truly interested in private bungalow but anw we'd booked dorm room. Highly recommend you do not book the dorm if you are gonna stay for a long time due to its disadvantage and hygene. Btw, staffs were truly cute and helpful. You should book their pick-up service and our driver was very nice too. There is a small spa right beside the hostel, we did foot massages there every night with amazing price lol.

  Fantastic location, the best place to stay in Ubud

  Really, really enjoyed my stay here. We stayed in two private bungalows with 4 friends. The included breakfast was great, lots of activities provided by the hostel and the location is fantastic. Walking distance to the centre and some great places to eat. Would definitely come here again. The fact that there’s a pool is also a big plus!
