  Mould, insects, unsafe electric wiring, horrendous smells, don’t be fooled by the lovely gardens.

  Hello, I booked this hotel in Ubud, however the room I was allocated is on the first floor without a garden view. I paid for the most expensive room available on Booking.com for a room with s garden view. I spoke to the manager and he said “Bro, take this up with booking.com”. So here I am - there are many issues with mould on the walls, the electric wiring is not safe for guests (I got an electric shock as I plugged the kettle), and while I can forgive the insects crawling about everywhere as we are in South East Asia, I cannot forgive the lack of upkeep and cleanliness of the room in general and particularly the bathroom that smells incredibly strong of mould as it is constantly wet due to the positioning of the shower head. I have photographs to prove these issues and would like to say that my early checkout request has been declined by the hotel management. What recourse does booking.com offer to its customers if hotels turn out to be unsuitable from a safety and hygiene perspective? Simply saying that an early checkout will cost us the value of entire booking does not provide any security or peace of mind to us, the users of the platform.

  The garden and surrounds are absolutely beautiful.We stayed for one night as our booking in the other hotel was lost in the system.The room is adequate, bed is comfortable.However, no shelving in the bathroom to put toiletriesVery low water pressure in the shower.Love the veranda, enjoyed the breakfast there. But be prepared for the mosquitos.Location is perfect, located along the main drag but did not hear any noise.Very peaceful.Not suitable for people who are unable to navigate big steps to access the property.   We stayed 2 nights in Ubud, the place is centrally located. Walking distance from the Ubud palace and rest of market. The staff is very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in Ubud. The place has some insects and mosquitoes so carry your spray and patches. They provided us with breakfast every morning. The place is value for money we paid. Special thanks to Mr Ketut, Supervisor of the property. I would recommend this place for stay if your are looking for great location, basic facilities and value for money.   Great Location, Lovely Staff.Located a short walk to the Ubud art market and royal palace. The property itself is a very traditional style (not unlike other properties in the Ubud area)Very nice garden and family temple/shrines on the property. Room was very clean! no signs of insects or dust are inside. All openings have a screening/mesh that stops anything from coming in. At night, there is some lighting on the pathways, but it is a bit dark. Enough to navigate. Bed is super comfy, clean and not too hard or soft.   Beautiful hotel

  We spent one night in this hotel. The resort is historic and beautiful house and garden. We were welcomed with tasty but too sweet dring. Check in took ages to the receptionist, but it it is local habbit, they have enough time always. We were not in hurry so we did not mind about it. Each two rooms are like one small house with covered terrase outside. Room was cleaned well, with romantic towels on the bed. We were tired from travelling, so we were sitting on the terrase and drinking and talking. We ordered type of breakfast balinese or continental.If we have to chose hotel in Ubud we would take this one.
