    The back wing of the hotel seems to be better maintained

    19 years ago this was a clean hotel and good find; this is no longer the case. We did our best to make due for 1 night and were finally able to move rooms on request about 11pm, after 3 prior complaints did not warrant such an offer. The sewer smell permeated everything with varying improvements by running water and air fresheners. We also note loose dirt on the sheets of a made bed, a sheet covered chair with what looked like blood stains, an ottoman with a large burn hole, and visible dirt and mold that left us wondering who normally rents these rooms. i am left wondering if these rooms resulted from our early check-in request.     Don't fall for the pictures.

    Unfortunately I saw others leaving negative reviews about the cleanliness of rooms and pest control issues. I chose to ignore these reviews because of how nice the pictures were and the amount of good reviews about the service and the breakfast. Upon my arrival I found :1. The lobby had a very musty smell2. When arriving at room 109 I found multiple roach baits and boric acid powder sprinkled behind all the furniture. I found a small dead roach, confirming the previous reviews about pest issues. The pictures are hidden, but if you click the profiles of the people that have left the reviews about pests you will see the pictures. 3. There were hairs in the towels. 4. The bathroom had a very nasty odor. We tried to get refunded for the night but they were only able to check us out early and refund us for the following day. So I'm out $176 for a hotel that was in my opinion, uninhabitable. The front desk staff was very friendly and was apologetic about the condition of the room, but I would stay in a different hotel if you are looking at this one.     found roaches on towels and pillow when addressed to front office all they did was come clean. we had to request new linen. would not move us to another room. front lady was rude when we mention the issue at check out time.     Outside area clean, well kept. Good location to restaurants. We were checked in by friendly, helpful lady at front desk. Nice, clean, quiet downstairs room. Good Wi-Fi, plenty recharging stations, large tv, frig, microwave. Clean bathroom, hot shower. Cold AC. Comfy beds. Doors open to outside, easy to unload/load vehicle. Great hot breakfast.
