It was an amazing experience! Our room was very clean and tidy, bed was huge with the bed sheets white as snow! No noise, very close to the train station 5 min walk, many restaurants and an amazing park just 1 min walk from the hotel. The General Manager Vincenzo is an angel can advise you with any help you need! Thank you for the professionalism and warm welcome! Excellent location, value for money.

    rating11 Mar 2026

Excellent location for travellers who already know central London and want to explore further afield. The hotel sits in the heart of Greenwich, with the market, Maritime Museum, Queen’s House, Cutty Sark and Observatory all within easy walking distance. Bus, boat and DLR connections are close by, and even London City Airport is near enough to make a day trip to Edinburgh perfectly feasible. Transport links will improve further once Cutty Sark DLR reopens in spring 2026.Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable, with the usual tea and coffee facilities, though mine offered only open shelving rather than a wardrobe. Breakfast is served in the adjoining Banana Tree restaurant and offers a choice of cooked English or continental options. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout.A minor drawback was the non‑functioning Chromecast, which is due for an upgrade. Overall, a good stay. Vincenzo Squeo, General Manager at ibis London Greenwich, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your stay with us.We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our location in the heart of Greenwich. Being within walking distance of wonderful attractions such as the Greenwich Market, the National Maritime Museum, the Queen's House, the Cutty Sark and the Royal Observatory Greenwich is something many of our guests appreciate, and it is great to know you were able to make the most of it. We are also pleased that you found the transport connections convenient, including access to the Docklands Light Railway and proximity to London City Airport. It is wonderful to hear that you found your room clean, quiet and comfortable and that our team made a positive impression during your stay. I will be sure to share your kind comments with them.Thank you as well for highlighting the Chromecast issue. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and can confirm that the system is currently scheduled for an upgrade, which should improve the streaming experience for future stays.Regarding breakfast, it is served in the neighbouring Banana Tree Greenwich, and we are pleased that you enjoyed the available options.Thank you again for your balanced and thoughtful feedback. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Greenwich in the near future.

Nice hotel in a great location

    rating14 Feb 2026

Stayed here as me and my husband was seeing a show at the O2 arena and the location was perfect. Close to stations, close enough to the O2 and very central to Greenwich.Check in was really easy and the guys on reception were really helpful. The room was better than expected, after ready reviews I was expecting the worst but our room was spotless, we couldn’t fault it.The only reason for giving 4 stars and not 5 is that we had no hot water for a shower in the morning. The fire alarm went off and apparently shut everything down, so not only waking everyone up also no hot water.Would recommend the Ibis and would return. Vincenzo Squeo, General Manager at ibis London Greenwich, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your recent stay.We are delighted to hear that our location worked perfectly for your visit to the The O2 Arena and that you found us convenient for the stations and central Greenwich. It’s also wonderful to know that your check-in experience was smooth and that our reception team made you feel welcome and well looked after. We are especially pleased that your room exceeded expectations and that you found it spotless. Your kind comments regarding cleanliness will be shared with our housekeeping team, who take great pride in their work. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by the fire alarm activation and the temporary loss of hot water. Safety is always our top priority, and while the system worked as designed, we completely understand how disruptive this must have been — particularly in the morning when preparing to leave. We truly regret the disturbance and the impact it had on your experience.Thank you again for your recommendation and for choosing to stay with us. We’re very pleased to hear you would return, and we look forward to welcoming you and your husband back for your next visit.

    Very nice 👍

We spent Christmas holidays in IBIS hotel. I was asking for a quiet room and we got a family room facing away from street noise. The beds were very comfortable and we had a large TV.The bathroom was bigger as it was designed for disabled people. The only downside was that the room was getting warm enough via the air conditioning. So we got a portable electric heater from reception. Everything ok then. IBIS is centrally located in Greenwich. Greenwich is a great area for family trips. It's safe and relaxed with UNESCO heritage buildings now housing Greenwich university. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants university. Best thing is the walk througe the park to the old observatory to catch one of the best views over London.
