    Disappointing, photos make it look great, from the moment you walk in the reception area, the rot under your feet. Be careful where you walk, insurance job if you fall through the floor. A pity the staff have to work in these conditions. Looks lovely on the outside, must have been when first built. The concept with the art is interesting but deterioration has taken its toll. You would need a taxi to get anywhere and back again. Very narrow streets. When walking beware of dogs.  Costs approx.  via taxi - 30000 to 50000rp to get to main streets of Sanur and beach. We chose not to eat there as didn't seem popular. But may have been OK. Main pool was the same size as the plunge pool we had just out from the restaurant. The dishes and cooking equipment were basic camp quality, black and burnt on. The fridge was a good size with freezer. No dishwasher as mentioned in the list.  Cleanliness was basic,  outside the pool was dirty - needed a good high pressure clean - walking the dirt inside wasn't great.  We put white towels in doorway they ended up getting black from what we walked in.   The overflow from the pool was not pleasant area.  I wondered if that flowed back into the pool. You have to call a number for house cleaning when you want it done.   I took pictures if there is a way of getting them online.   I will.  It must have been a lovely place when new.  It's a shame it's been let go.  Maintenance and a fresh coat of paint with some new kitchen appliances and dishes, There was no gas bottle connected.  A thorough clean etc.  We stuck it out for 4 days and nights - no hot water in the shower area, they said it was fixed but it wasn't.  We moved to 101 Hotel for the same price including a beautiful buffet breakfast and got the best of everything, close to shops, walking distance to beach, quiet at the back area, hot water.  no need for taxis. There were some good things - the staff were friendly and pleasant.  The free shuttle was also good and helpful - would be good if guests had more regular times.   Think again when booking here.   Currently trying to get a refund for the 3 - 4 days remaining which we did not stay and that's a chore - even though they have agreed to refund via email.  Especially going through Expedia maze was a nightmare.     See photos attached of cleanliness.

    We stay in Anila villa.Gardens need refresh, remove the poly bag, Living room fan sometimes noise,Need set up some mat from pool to living room.Kitchen tools old, need to buy the new one.Floor are dusty.Parking infront villa is bonus.Please improve

    Nice clean Place, artistics and recommended for family.Have 2 pools and good resto, location also Good.Connecting room real cool and have bathroom on each room.Kitchen and dining table are available, sofa and tv are fantastic for family.     Private and nice, need to up maintain the room better

    Stayed at Sanur Art Villa several time at different room type. The place is secluded and definitely need google maps to find it. :-) Studio room, similar to regular hotel room with backdoor to swimming pool. The room downtairs is better then the upper floor. 1 of the room was having problem with the leaking plumbing, so there was a pond of water in the bathroom. I called the maintenance and still didnt solve the problem. This is the upper room. 1 bed room Villa with private pool is nice. Secluded and has its own gate. Dining and living room are at the lower floor and 2nd floor is all the room. It was clean, with kitchen area and dining room enough for family of 4. The Bedroom and bathroom upstairs was also good and clean, nice clothes hanger in the spacious bathroom. I like this room better than the studio. 2 bed room villa is the similar condition with the 1 bedroom. Great for family stay. Overall, it was a good experience, and avoid the studio room on 2nd floor if you can. Price wise is worth it for regular stay. They also have monthly rate during pandemic. I would recommend traveler who wants privacy and nice relaxing time at private pool.

    Poor cleaninless & maintenance, definitely overpriced

    I stay in the two bedrooms villa (though i took only one and they lock the other one)1st day I am dissapointed with the bedsheet that has holes and stain most of the time even after they change it. AC did not work properly after my all day out its hot so it got me super upset. They dont use any kind of air freshner and liquid for cleaning the floor so the smell is horrible. I ask about the air freshner to the staff while they cleaning my place they said they never use one. Maybe from the management to cut expenses but its too much as i think its essentials. I bought my own air freshener. I stay for one month. Got no other option but to get through it as its difficult to find one. With the price they charge definitely not worth it. Poor service and maintenance. Facilities as simple as a stand to dry your clothes is not available. Another essentials thing even simple guest house will have one. all the faucet and showers so rusty, the closet looks old and got forever stain. Seems they dont clean it properly for a long time. The net is broken they dont even care to change it. Staff pretty okay not all good. But the admin is responsive and always answering my inquiries. So the one star is for the staff as nothing good about the villa i can say. Sorry but I wish i can say something good. With the way they clean stuff. I did not trust the cleaninless so i never enter my private pool my entire stay :(
