Location

The resort is located at Goa Gajah Street, only 5 minutes' drive from Ubud, the famous art village in Bali. Ngurah Rai International Airport is situated some 40 km away.

Facility

Guests can enjoy the pleasant ambience of one of the 20 villas/houses. The following room categories are also available: 20 rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and have a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent.     What can I say. This resort was top notch from the bottom up. Every single staff member was attentive and detailed oriented. Super accommodating to us and to our friends and family. My wife and I had our wedding there and they made it memorable for us and everyone attending. What separates them from other places in Ubud is the serenity and peacefulness. Once you walk into their gates, it’s like entering another portal. With so many spectacular views all around. Hands down one of, if not the best resort in Bali for sure. Thank you Tanah Gajah for a lifetime of memories there.

    Beautiful resort with the most friendly and hospitable staff. From security who knows exactly what's going on to reception which always welcomes with a cold cloth to the amazing gardeners to the wait staff who were so kind to the wonderful chef Dean it was all fantastic. The Hibiscus flowers on the elephant statues always made me smile. The dance and feast was wonderful with staff showing you the way and offering a lovely cold drink and bug spray.

    We stayed at Tanah Gajah Ubud for one week for our honeymoon and genuinely did not want to leave. From the moment we arrived, the entire experience felt peaceful, intimate and incredibly special.The property itself is absolutely breathtaking. Everywhere you look feels like a painting, from the rice fields and gardens to the villas and the little quiet details throughout the resort. It somehow feels both luxurious and deeply calming at the same time.What truly made the stay unforgettable though was the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, attentive and genuinely kind. Nothing ever felt forced or transactional. You can feel how much pride and care the team puts into creating an experience for guests. We were constantly greeted with such warmth and felt so looked after throughout our entire stay.The food was exceptional, the service was flawless, and the atmosphere was pure serenity. Waking up each morning surrounded by nature and ending evenings watching the sunset over the rice fields honestly felt surreal.We have travelled before, but this was one of the first places that truly felt magical. It was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon and created memories we will keep forever.Thank you to everyone at Tanah Gajah for making our stay so meaningful and unforgettable. We already miss it and absolutely hope to return one day.

    We had a lovely stay at Tanah Gajah. The resort is an oasis. We stayed in a two-bedroom pool villa. The girls loved swimming, feeding the swans and fishing!

    We had an amazing 10 night stay and it couldn't have been more perfect. We wanted a quiet retreat to relax and enjoy a beautiful setting. We loved our villa overlooking the lily pond. The gardens are kept immaculate by a team of really friendly gardeners. Every member of staff was truly professional, well trained and super friendly. As we stayed for longer than most guests we got to know some of the team well, including Ayu in the restaurant who was always a joy to see and be served by. We couldn't recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely return, it is the best hotel in Bali that we have ever stayed at. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly. Regards Chris and Phil
