  Fantastic little guest house

  Great little Guest house close to restaurants, shops, markets, everything. Sweets owner and delightful young staff. Fresh and adequate breakfast included of fresh fruit and an omelette. Room’s immaculate. Large bathrooms. Lovely surroundings

  What a lovely and peaceful place to stay. Large ground floor room with beautiful carved wooden shutters and doors instead of glazing. There was an en-suite shower room which was basic but fictional and very clean.Teja himself welcomed me himself and kindly told me about the area and gave me a map.The room had a very large patio area with table and chairs and the property was very quiet as , although very central, it was down a small alleyway and set back from the road.Breakfast was a cheese, tomato and onion omelette and toast with fruit and a choice of tea or coffee every morning, which was delicious and the staff who work there were relaxed and friendly.There’s a real warmth about this place that you don’t get in a hotel and it was very good value for money. I’d definitely stay here again.

  If you seek the experience of staying with a local family in Ubud, this is the place. This centrally located family home has large, clean mosquito-free, air-conditioned rooms with comfortable beds and baths of reasonable size with sink and shower. A two-night stay in two different rooms on the ground floor, one with a terrace/patio, yielded no Wifi. The cable tv service showed only one station clearly; it broadcast in the local language. The gardens are beautifully traditional and the price made this stay one of superb value. The family was quite pleasant and kind, despite a late night check-in and a very early morning departure. The homestead is located behind the gallery so that only the gallery and the building number are written on the Hanoman Street signage. (This may make the location somewhat confusing for a first-time visitor.) Do try Teja for the value and for the opportunity to meet a great Balinese family!

  Calm Oasis in Central Ubud

  Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Teja homestay. The location is perfect, within steps of shops, restaurants & tourist attractions but once you walk into the courtyard it's quiet and private, and you don't feel like you're in a bustling city. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable with its own private balcony, and the grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here when you come to Ubud.

  Lovely small hotel close to the centre of ubud

  This is a lovely traditional hotel, within easy walking distance to the centre of ubud and also within easy walking distance of the sacred monkey forest. The room had a big tv, safe, good air con and a comfortable bed. Bathroom and shower also good and all clean. The buildings are very traditional looking and there is a beautiful pond, lots of plants, statues and a talking bird in the grounds.Overall, this is a lovely hotel and very reasonably priced.
