Beautiful Relaxing Temuku Villas Ubud

So my wife and I have been here for 4 days, we have traveled to Bali on many occasions in fact two to three times a year, Ubud is a favourite destination for us both. Coming to the Temuku Villas was nothing short of a brilliant choice, from check in the experience was fantastic, the staff here are absolutely brilliant they will tender to your every need friendly and attentive, the Villa we are in Villa 10 is no doubt 10 out of 10 very private and absolutely clean, your own pool and much more, I’m laying here under the Balinese Hut writing this listening to the birds, and running water behind us so serene, I have no doubt the next 4 days we will leave fully relaxed. The Temuku Villas also offer a free shuttle into the heart of Ubud which was fantastic and easy to use, and lastly the food here was well above excellent.We have now been here for 8 days and I can tell you my wife and I are absolutely relaxed, my wife has totally enjoyed the spa within the villas and was totally pampered to which she was absolutely impressed, Temuku Villas please thank your staff they are nothing short of amazing, they’re all an asset to the name Temuku Villas Ubud, we will definitely be back to stay 🙂 Barry and Sharon Villa 10 Australia

We stayed there for 4 nights and it was perfect. The villa was beautiful, clean, spacious, and overlooked a lush jungle with the sound of a flowing water stream, with a private pool that made every morning feel like a dream.The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready with a smile and great recommendations. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, served right to our villa at time.It’s just far from central Ubud, but the hotel offers free shuttle to the center on scheduled timing.I would also suggest to add a bit more lighting inside the room, especially in the evening. It felt a little dim at times. We mentioned that to the team and they immediately brought in a self-standing lamp to improve the lighting. That kind of responsiveness really stood out.I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bali.

My partner and I stayed at Temuku villas in ubud and had an amazing time!When we came they had welcome tea and cold towels, a golf cart shuttle service from main road. The villa was beautiful, clean and private. Nice big comfortable bed and great bathroom facilities.You could order anything to your room via WhatsApp or on the phone. Breakfast is between 7.30-10.30 and was also served to our room. Large selection of breakfast and pretty good. Everyday at 3-6 there is complimentary tea/coffee and assorted Balinese sweet snacks. The room was cleaned everyday when we were out (they asked over WhatsApp when suited us) and there was also a “turndown” service which included turning on the pool lights, lighting mosquitoe coils and making the place cozy for when we came back after dinner. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.The last day we had to leave early so we couldn’t make the 7.30 breakfast, but there was an option of coffee and a breakfast box we could bring with us.Great great place next to the rice fields, very beautiful setting. 10/10 would recommend!

Nice location which was very quiet and secluded. Interesting facilities which I would’ve loved to use but the cleanliness of the property was quite poor. Their food was really nice however. Villas are well designed with private pools. Just the cleanliness needs to be improved upon

This one feels a bit harsh but I have to be completely honest. Starting with the good, the hotel location is very peaceful and the set up of the villa is great. Everyone has an individual villa with a private pool and a view (of their choosing, rice field or ‘jungle’). The potential of this place is unbelievable. The staff on a day to day basis were extremely friendly and were a part of what made the stay bareable. The 24 hour buggy by WhatsApp is also a saviour considering it is down a bit of an odd road. Unfortunately this is where the good ends. On numerous occasions there were stains on pillows, sheets, towels, blankets curtains, including very dirty pillows under the covers with mould. The curtains had unbelievable stains. The fridge in the kitchen had not seen any cleaning either in a long time apart from a basic wipe down. The ceiling has spider webs and ants were crawling from behind the bed, meaning the maintenance wasn’t good (I’m aware ants are likely in rooms of this style, but behind the bed and not where there were clear gaps makes it even more confusing). This also included a dirty outdoor toilet with a number of stains (it’s slightly outdoors due to the design of room). The room clearly isn’t ’cleaned’ on a day to day basis, even though they contact you for cleaning. This is probably just a quick broom. The pool wasn’t well maintained and the room overall had clear cracks and issues that means there hasn’t been a focus. This, along with being given mosquito, cockroach and ant killer for the nights was not the best touch to a long holiday away. Unfortunately I think this all boils down to poor hotel management. When asking staff for a knife to cut fruit and being told there is only one in the kitchen, considering this kitchen also served other villas under separate names (based next door so likely same owner), it’s highly concerning and disappointing. The icing on the cake were the soggy fries with the club sandwich. We thought this would be a dream location and it definitely has potential, but until it’s managed properly and cleaned, and things are put in place to give it that extra standard, I can’t recommend it. Spend the money elsewhere, but also consider that maybe the 4* cheap price is slightly lower than expected for a reason.
