    Terrible unprofessional and unethical employees

    rating16 Jun 2024

I booked a luxury room on their siteThey checked me in a terrible room, no privacy, facing the stairs, whn I asked to change they said hotel was fully booked and all guest are in their rooms atm. Then while waiting to find a solution, a shuttle buss arrived with around 5 or 7 people, who hasn't checked in yet!And they refused to change my room still. Then they said no manager avaialable to talk to.Later we had to take the terrible room because we had no option after arriving from a long trip.Smells mold, noise coming from outside, generator or something, guest upstairs is noisy, you can hear people moving around because of location, we left the hotel and they did t even refund or change room! They are extremely unprofessional and dishonest and not a boutique hotel as they calim to be.

    bed bugs, avoid

    rating26 May 2024

This hotel is a potential health hazard for all guests sleeping here. The issue is that there are many bedbugs in the rooms; the mattrasses contain both living mature bedbugs as well as the eggs as feces. We have addressed this to the management and immediately they came into our room. Not to examine, identify or make photos, but to kill and throw it away. They immediately proposed to change the sheets and when we denied this, because this will not get rid of the problem, they assigned us the room next to this one. Anyone reading into taking measures with regards to bed bugs knows a zone of 30m should be quarantined. Appearently they do not really care about getting rid of the issue.Their high rating on Booking.com derives from the fact that they cancel the booking as soon as complaints are made, which makes it unable to leave feedback.Next to this, basic things such as no beds at the pool, a closed restaurant for lunch and dinner make this place a recipe for disaster.Spend some extra IDR and avoid this place at all costs. Attached some evidence for the bed bugs. After all this, they called us, denied the problem and said it was not true without offering a feasible solution. AVOID!

    Good hotel in central Ubud

    rating06 Feb 2024

The staff are incredibly lovely and were very accomodating. The room was very big with a good layout and nice design. Balcony also a good size.Comfy bean bags by the pool and a good sized pool that wasnt in use by others much. A little shaded but good to escape the heat for an hour.If you want to be walking distance to central Ubud this is a good choice and great value :)

Mixed Experience: Friendly Staff but Disappointing Management Response after food poisoning

    rating27 Jan 2024

While the staff at the hotel were friendly, my overall experience was marred by a severe case of food poisoning after dining at the establishment. Despite the kindness of the personnel, the management's response to the situation was disappointing. There was a lack of acknowledgment, communication, and compensation for the ordeal. Improvement in handling guest grievances, especially regarding health and safety, is strongly recommendedDear Management,I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding my recent experience at your hotel. After dining at your establishment and consuming the fried noodles, I unfortunately suffered from a severe case of food poisoning. Despite informing your staff of my condition, I was disheartened by the repeated questioning regarding my meal consumption, with phrases such as, "But didn't you also eat something else?" This line of inquiry was not only insensitive but also failed to acknowledge the gravity of the situation.Local medical professionals advised me to inform the hotel management of my illness, stating that such communication was customary and essential. I requested direct contact from the management to provide them with necessary information, but regrettably, no such communication occurred.Furthermore, I was shocked to receive the bill for the meal, presented to me the day before my departure, while I was still in a state of extreme discomfort. Despite clearly indicating my dissatisfaction to the management, I was expected to settle the bill immediately. I adhered to local customs by addressing the payment during the check-out process. While I understand that food poisoning incidents can occur, particularly in Bali, the handling of this situation by your management was profoundly disappointing. There was no formal acknowledgment of the issue, nor any form of compensation offered. Upon consultation with local authorities, I have learned that such practices are not uncommon. In conclusion, I urge your establishment to reevaluate its protocols for handling guest grievances, particularly those concerning health and safety. I hope that in the future, incidents such as these will be addressed with the seriousness and professionalism they warrant.
