  My absolute favourite place of serenity

  I’ve stayed here before and loved the location and the privacy so much that every time I come to Bali I will stay here if there is a single villa available. On this occasion I booked too late so managed to get a week here of my ten days in Bali. The staff are lovely, the privacy of the room is also great. The housekeeping do a wonderful job keeping the rooms clean. The only issues I had were a barking dog toward the back end the the villas would not stop barking late at night (not the villas fault mind u), I had phone calls the first two mornings to see if I was attending breakfast which woke me up one morning and the other time I was in the shower. My issue is I don’t like calls, don’t eat breakfast and I had a do not disturb sign up! It didn’t happen again once I raised this with reception. The pool got cleaned regularly when asked as the frangipani kept dropping its leaves in the pool. The private pool and private room just gives me so much peace and sense of wellbeing. As do the lovely staff. Great hotel and highly recommended. I was alone which is my preference for travelling but these rooms are romantic for a couple and would be lovely for a family too.

  The room’s severe maintenance issues made this 8 day stay far from what we expected.

  During our eight‑day stay, we were consistently welcomed and cared for by the staff. They were always available to assist with anything we needed and never missed an opportunity to greet us warmly or chat with us about our plans and daily adventures. The breakfast buffet was a great way to start each morning, running conveniently from 7–11 a.m. One gesture that truly stood out was their flexibility with our departure. Knowing we had a late flight, they allowed us to stay three hours past the 1:00 p.m. checkout time without any extra charges or hassle. Their kindness and attentiveness made our interactions with the staff exceptional.Unfortunately, the condition of our room was a major disappointment—especially given the property’s high rating. The entryway had significant mold, or at least a black substance, around the edges. Inside the bedroom, the paint was peeling badly, with mismatched touch‑up patches that didn’t address the underlying issues. The ceiling had large water stains that appeared to have been painted over rather than repaired.The bathroom was also concerning. The concrete tile walls near the tub flaked off a powdery substance when touched. The air conditioner struggled to cool the room and frequently shut off during the night, even on the lowest setting. The mattress was old, and the wooden bed frame was extremely worn and squeaked with every movement. Whether it was the mold, the flaking walls, or something else, I experienced breathing issues every night from the first day.If I were the owner, I would be embarrassed to have guests stay in a room in this condition. I won’t list the room number because, based on what we experienced, I suspect other rooms may have similar issues.The stay had the potential to be wonderful for my spouse and me, but the unacceptable room conditions overshadowed everything else. To add to the frustration, the internet connection was extremely weak. With the router located at the front of the building, Wi‑Fi in our room and even in the patio area was consistently poor.With some investment and proper maintenance, this property could easily become a top‑tier destination. Unfortunately, as it stands, the room conditions made our experience far from what we expected.

  Beautiful villas and wonderful staff

  We stayed from Saturday the 9th to Saturday the 23rd of January, and we will definitely be returning. The villa was beautiful—so clean, peaceful, and private. The cleaners worked very hard to ensure we were comfortable, and everything was spotless. The décor featured lovely Balinese touches, and we really felt immersed in the culture.The food was absolutely incredible. Each morning, we were encouraged to try the buffet, which included fresh Balinese dishes—full of colour and flavour—along with fresh fruit and beautiful pastries. From day one, we could have eggs cooked however we liked, including omelettes. After a few days, we could also order from a menu—avocado toast, waffles, French toast, and smoothie bowls, which quickly became our favourite. We also loved the room service—quick, reasonably priced, and always delicious. We really appreciated how the menu gave us a chance to explore new flavours while still enjoying classic favourites.The staff—Malek the driver, Bo, Julie, Louis—were phenomenal. They worked so hard every day, always with a smile, genuinely interested in getting to know us, asking about our days, and recommending things to do. Bo, in particular, went above and beyond—he helped arrange our engagement night and even captured the moment on video, making it so special. The driver made getting around effortless, and Julie’s Balinese massage was just perfect.The location was ideal—just a short walk to Seminyak’s main strip, shops, malls, and markets, but tucked away enough to stay peaceful. And to top it all off, they made our engagement unforgettable—decorating the villa with rose petals and serving a private five-course dinner. We couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you all so much—we will absolutely be back!

  We booked here for 9 says and unfortanely made a mistake with the flight and we missed it. As the hotel will rent out our villa again. We asked if we could get a partial refund. The travelagenfy had allready agreed but Light stopped that ad disnt want to refund a penny. So they are renting out our villa again while we paid in full. They dojt respond on whatsapp and resond short with there legal right to take our money without a refund. My right to review there service, so here we are.

  The staff are amazing, attentive, professional, courteous and welcoming, Well Done Location is great, good restaurants, spas, laundry etc just outside hotel. Can walk to Seminyak village if its not too hot but a quick grab/taxi ride is easy to access - VillaLarge outdoor area, great pool and large bathroomThe bedroom itself is small and is the only air conditioned areaFurniture, decor etc is a bit dated and in need of some sprucing (including the bath towels)Food/Restaurant- Breakfast is not great basic and not great quality including the coffee, we booked breakfast for 6 days but ate once only. This can make a great difference to the whole experience at this property. Considering the excellent quality restaurants that surround it. - Ordered room service, sadly not good eitherOverall a good stay and good value w.r.t having a private pool
