Location

The resort is located at West Bali National Park. It is close to the famous Menjangan Island and overlooks the beautiful Bajul Bay, noted for its wonderful coral reefs and silky sea, where exceptional underwater contours provide world-class diving and snorkeling sites. The city centre of Singaraja is around 10 km away and Pemuteran Beach can be reached in some 10 minutes' drive. Ngurah Rai International Airport is approximately 150 km away.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (no extra charge). Other services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service. Bicycle storage is also available.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. A safe and a minibar are also available. Extra comforts include a tea/coffee station. A trouser press is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a TV and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and horse riding are available. Water sports available at the hotel include canoeing, kayaking, snorkelling and diving. Sports options available to guests include billiards or, for a fee, a gym. A spa and massage treatments are available in the wellness area.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A wide variety of dishes are served at all three main mealtimes. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner as a set menu. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    I loved staying at The Menjangan. All the staff were very friendly and treated us warmly. My friends and I were very happy during our stay — even 2 days felt too short.     We spent three nights in one of the beach villas that are situated directly on the water, deep inside the resort. Very spacious and well laid out room, excellent outdoor bathroom. In the morning deer stroll the beach and monkeys try to catch crab at low tide! Excellent restaurant with a view of the bay: mangrove with kingfishers, volcano backdrop. Can recommend a quiet one hour boat trip around the bay with a local katamaran boat. All staff extremely friendly, flexible, accommodating and professional; made our stay a great pleasure.Hiking within the huge resort area is offered - this is more of a bird watching walk, but very nice.The view from the very tall Bali tower (reception) is stunning!The whole resort is a calm bubble away from busy and noisy Bali.     Menjangan by Lifestyle Retreats is one of those places that is so good you want to keep it a secret so it stays like that forever. We stayed in the beach villa listening to the waves, watching the boats going by and just sinking in to the quietness and feeling great about doing nothing.     Dear Menjangan Lifestyle Resort team,You all made our stay wonderful. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Medication was not only announced, but also provided in our accommodation.For my milestone birthday, we were upgraded to a beach villa. And we were still able to use the fantastic pool. The shuttle service worked perfectly and the transport was great fun.The cleanliness of the resort is particularly worth mentioning, as is the culinary offering in the restaurant: a colorful spectrum with something to suit every taste.If the journey from Europe weren't so long, we would definitely come more often. But in any case, this place and the Bali area are 100% recommendable, quiet and relaxing.
